| Yes, i even use cute anime girls pfps on government websites And with my non-anime friends and business contacts too But on websites where i have to meet strangers, the sites for selling or buying anything, i use neutral avatars, because its already too nervous for me to meet with strangers |

| Yeah on some of them, I like to change my profile picture for most sites I use every once in a while so it's just depends if I'm in the mood for it or not. With MAL though I'll always have an anime profile picture since it's an anime site. Might as well. |

| I use an anime profile picture because idk what else to use. I'd love to use some metal profile picture because that's the fandom I'm apart of however you know, that just comes off as edgy and I don't want to be made fun of you know. I've been made fun of for things much less than that so I don't really want to go through that again. Anime is a very neutral profile picture to have and what I've found is most people don't actually watch anime, they're just using the anime profile picture for the aesthetic :p |

| No. Anime profile picture are ok, but they have a side effect when no one even tries to take what you say seriously anymore. I personally don't think so, but there many of those around who do, so I'll go with something different. |

| @DesuMaiden, because they have a prejudice against anime. They see it as a sign of infantility, and basically label you a loser for liking anime. All their argumentation quickly falls apart the moment you ask them to elabarote, but still... I don't know about the West, but there's a decent number of folk like that over here. |

Me? DPR, south (Azov sea side). But over here, you more often than not get pure, genuine hatred for being an anime fan. Most of them are keyboard warriors, of course, but some do have enough muscles to “defend” their stance.
