| Just finished watching it with my friend we really enjoyed it , the art is amazing and its way waaay better than S2 , I'm happy to see my favorite character Saitama after 6 years👊👨🦲 I can't wait for episode 2 , Garou is on the hunt again |

each season the animation gets worse and worse; I might just start reading it... it feels like even one could have drawn better, and I feel that anime in general should be at least a bit cinematic... I do not like the path of this quantity-over-quality that the industry is taking.
| @Sparkrich That's exactly what i decided to do after season 2 ! I resigned and digested the fact we'll never have Madhouse as the studio again. I mostly watch animes and very rarely read mangas but i'm happy with my choices to read OPM and having read it i promise you will enjoy the stuff so much more! I'm not the most exigent when it comes to animation but what they did with last seasons is outrageous! |

Meanwhile Saitama once again got sidelined for most of the episode. The second season already was hugely dissappointing, but overall wasn't truly terrible. This one.......are we going into TPN2 territory? |

| Whenever I see what happened to OPM, I'm wondering why something as run of the mill as Mob Psycho got 3 seasons of high quality animation when it didn't even need it, while OPM got turned into pile of trash after only one stellar season. |

| One punch man deserved a better studio but I guess no one Is interested In the project. I already lowered my expectations since I saw It was the same studio from season 2 , I have to say the models and art style look better then season 2 and animation have to wait till fights to see. Its really sad that this big manga Is being adapted whit this medium to bad quality , I hope season 4 changes studio to something like studio bones or some good studio. |

| Absolute horse shit. I lost count of how many cuts with characters talking/reacting with no face expression whatsoever, how many shots with no/white background, how many cuts with just speed lines + panning. It's not even funny. It's starting worse than S2. I won't be surprised if it ends up being worse in its entirety. I rarely comment to say negative things but I can't believe this is how we welcome back OPM after all these years. Seing this rated above 7 (at the time I'm writing this) when other shows of this Fall season aren't, makes no sense to me. Having said that, between the time I hit play and the ep finished, it went from 7.12 to 7.08 already so there's hope at least lmao |

| 5 mins worth in a full episode, nothing really happened. They gonna prolong two cours of this, I have faith since the direct on twitter was literally going through pain to get this good. S2 was actually great, since season 1 was supposed to be a passion project by industry legends. So not really fair to based it off season 1, as will never get that back. Although only ep1 so hopefully we get more frames |

| Everyone talks about the animation, but the biggest problems are the large gap from when the show aired (I was a teen when S1 aired, now I'm closer to my 30's than from my 20's) and the story getting convoluted. Everyone remembers S1, because that was extremely straighforward. But after Garou they tried to do more worldbuilding, get more characters, more unnecessary plot, and now S2 is just became a big blur. As for the animation One Punch Man isn't just action, it's a comedy. But like I said, after Garou the comedy had a huge backseat and manga kinda survive purely on action. So obviously the show won't work. IMO they should've had the balls to rewrite scenes, creating more comedy and drama and making the action take the backseat. But as it is, I can only recommend watching this skipping most of the exposition dialogue (specially since I know most of them are irrelevant). |

I had hopes that it could be like S1 despite Madhouse not animating it |
