| The stereotype exists because people who have aberrant interests generally fall on the spectrum more than those who do not. As for me, I have had many experiences w/ women when I was younger but struggle nowadays. |

| It's less about being a nerd, but more about being a loser, that's where the stereotype comes from, the loser nerd cliche, but we all know there are successful nerds as well, and they can get girlfriends much more easily. |

| The way to break the stereotype is to not be your obsessive self irl with a girl you're chatting with. Also, even as a nerd if you pass the two rules of dating, you're golden. |

| The concept of a nerd makes no sense these days. The whole concept was that someone had niche interests that they were not able to socially engage with others for having but we have had internet communities and conventions and clubs for many decades now. Plus if you associate nerd with technology kind of interests, well tech jobs are some of the highest paying so nerds are the big prize financially. |

| the social hierarchy has flipped now. Back In the 80s and 90s, nerds were the bottom tier in popularity. Now? They’re the power players. Those 4ft10 nerds that 6ft4 sports jocks like me used bully have got that IT money, they are controlling tech industries and rolling in IT dollars. Those computer nerds are now dating or marrying top-tier celebrities.. Just look how many Asian celebrities marry IT Nerds whose game start up or app developments hit big. Height? Muscles? Nah A billion-dollar app beats a six-pack any day for. Women prefer finance, ambition, influence, and vision over 6ft 4 jobless bums like me. Old-school bullying of nerds is out, Today’s society don’t tolerate such behavior.. Look I speak from my own experience. |

| Cope from dudes that peak before turning 20. But also the social expectations of a successful person don't align with nerds most of the time. Ngl nerds need other nerds as partners so this problem is easily solved |

| @Toadfan64 She also told me one of her favorite games of all time is Chrono Trigger so I think I just found a diamond in the rough. Finding girls who even play video games let alone appreciate the true classics is next to impossible. |
