Think this would benefit from a remake or prequel or sequel type. Becos this wasnt amazing just was nothing out these times with edge.Cant wait for the assy replies. But hopefully get some input into why dislike or like and What would be a better remake?

Yep, assuming it’s gonna be a full proper adaptation of the manga. Not coming out anytime soon though.

I think a proper adaptation is what it deserves. I'll even be okay with a CGI adaptation like what Studio orange does.

A straight up remake of the film would almost certainly be a disappointment. Making a faithful adaptation of the manga could be interesting though.

did say remake into a season too in the topic. think this like ghost in a shell did recently do could do with new life. I know the ghost in shell wasn't great but it wasn't my fav anime to begin with

A remake series would be great. I don't know if they are still making it since its long time since it was announced. This has great animation but not complete. Sunrise is a great choice. One of the best anime studios.

Honestly, no. The early manga has some weird and poor pacing at times, which is what made me watch the movie, one which I still think is fantastic.

I would really like a manga accurate show or collection of movies but I think the amount of crazy stuff in the manga would be a bit hard to adapt in a good enough quality but maybe Im wrong.

I would also like to see some characters from the manga like Sakaki or plenty of other side characters get a bit more focus and depth but there’s so many characters and stuff happening I know that’d be impossible.

Still I think the manga has plenty of cool characters and moments that’d be amazing to see animated.
