@Zarutaku I'm not trying to play word games or anything, but pet ownership is kinda a form of slavery, in a way. You own a living being and hold complete control of their freedom (and let's just say there wouldn't be much pet owners willing to let their pet escape if they wanted to).

I don't see the mere ownership of a living being as slavery, because that would have to involve forced labor.

| Probably still just a cat or a dog. They are already used to be being domesticated, you have plenty of resources at your disposal, and don't have an overwhelming overhead of space, cost to feed, etc. But if I lived in the right area, yeah, a Komodo dragon would be sweet. |
