An actual beach episode! I'm surprised it took this long since this anime seems self aware of its own fan service. The Hero got the most expected reaction after seeing the girls in their swimsuits LOL

Anemone managed to come out of that wrestling tournament as the unexpected winner. I mean, Toto did try but he's not match after that kiss on the face.

Goa is a trickster lol. Each of these girls are unique in their own way which makes this show a lot more enjoyable. Usually in shows like these I dislike one of the female leads but all three have their charm.

Anemone taking the lead and kissing Toto was hilarious.

Ah watching a beach episode while in the Philippines at the beach hits differently lol. Where’s my Anemone?? My girl got so much shine today, her swimsuit getting her first kiss added years to my life lol. “Have they forgotten about killing him?” girl y’all all have 🤣 give it a rest

B rank douche bag really thought “I want you” was a good pickup line on Goa and it’s killing me. Got his ass best and embarrassed in front of everyone for his troubles. I feel like Mone and Ciel talking about using this as an opportunity to take out Goa was more about getting rid of her as a love rival than an assassination rival lol.

Really fun episode, kinda felt like filler but I’ll take it because of all the Mone focus. I still strongly believe this show is underrated

A fun and relaxed little vacation for our party members this week.

We do have the classic archetype of the adventurer thinking highly of himself and poorly of everyone else, the interesting twist here is how the situation quickly evolves into a fight for the right to travel with Goa-chan.
So much fun things happen during that tournament, between Ciel forgetting the rules, Anemone kissing Toto (on the cheek) but also winning a fight she wanted to lose later on, and that B-rank 'hero' ridiculous boasting of his strength.

When Ciel and Anemone were conspiring to get rid of a 'rival' (Goa), it felt to me that at this point in the story they meant a rival in love, probably more than a rival for murdering Toto (there haven't been any serious attempt of doing that for a while by the way).

Interesting ending, it seems like the companion of the lame 'hero' knows of Ciel's identity, does that mean Toto will finally learn who she really is?
We'll see I guess :)

While Goa's raw power might be the weakest in the group, her brain is big enough to compensate all of her shortcomings, she's truly a mastermind.

Oh, that B-rank hero is actually a nice guy, when the monster suddenly appear he acts like a real hero immediately, even if his attack is not getting through, I might fall for him since there'd be no competition, unlike Toto.

Talking about Toto, I feel like this beach episode should make him shirtless already, such a miss opportunity.

What a great and fun beach episode, including a mini tournament! While I figured Goa would find a way to stay in the group I'm still not quite sure what she did to Mone as all I noticed was that Goa put her hand on her shoulder and then during the fight her top ripped in half. My guess is that Goa somehow magically controlled that top ripping, or somehow weakened it 🤷. Anyways, the group stays together and Toto has built up resistance to the point that the the girls hugging him isn't enough to knock him out, now they have to resort to kissing and for Ciel that was shocking lol.

For all the talk of the episode being filler, I think it was my favorite (definitely the funniest & cutest). Not like the writing has ever been this series strongest point. The tentacle monster turned out to be a non-issue, but wasn’t really needed anyway with Goa’s bikini & Anemone’s wardrobe malfunction.

This episode was hilarious!

And once Mone said, "I have to last longer than Ciel!" (or something like that), I just knew she was going to accidentally win somehow. My hypothesis was that she was going to get pissed off by something the B-rank twit said and end up winning in her anger, but I was perfectly happy with how it ended up going :D

And I love how Goa was just enjoying being a prize; she just goes along with anything and enjoys it as much as possible. I wish I was more like her!

I caught up with the show just in time for the swimsuit episode... let's go!!!

You can't blame Toto for fainting at that sight, the girls looked great. Especially Goa, I loved how Goa looked in her swimsuit <3.

Anemone winning by carrying extra melons lol... what a view btw. It was great how Goa teased her about her first kiss xD.

And of course, the cameraman deserves a mention. He did such a great job with all those ass shots haha.

@phantomfandom I was impressed by the "arrogant" B-Ranker turning out to be a pretty straight up guy.
Treated the ladies fairly, didn't underestimate them (as much as anyone could.)
