Man, this might of been one of the more emotional arcs for this show, especially the bittersweet end.

It just goes to show no matter who you are, even an assassin has human feelings to the end. Felt like a mini-movie imo and the chereography was surreal. This was the most expected outcome after all the buildup and that assassin girl knew it herself. What an episode!

“I will never forget how full of life she was in her last moments” 💔 this show just doesn’t pull any punches they’re gonna keep breaking my heart week after week aren’t they? We knew Ringo was dying, but that doesn’t make it any easier. She was so young and far too pure for this assassin lifestyle. She deserved to live a long normal life, instead she’s reunited with her beloved master/mom far too soon.

Sara vs double fang looked pretty subpar animation wise, but the big takeaway from that fight is Sara’s growth. She wasn’t just fighting to protect Ringo because of an order, you can tell she genuinely wanted to keep her safe. The way Ringo saw her mother in Sara and looked at her with those eyes.. even someone who’s been trained to be a cold killer like Sara couldn’t resist forming an emotional connection.

Of course the missing secret ingredient was “Love Apple” aka tomato. Fitting since Ringo was the missing ingredient in her master’s life that added flavor and purpose. By letting her know the missing ingredient at the end, it allowed her to die knowing how much she meant to her master and with a smile on her face. Still sad as hell, but if she was gonna go, that was the best way. The fact she bought an entire fucking mountain to be she and her master final resting place is so beautiful.

I’m confused tho why did the master have her kill her?? Was that because she was dying of a disease as well or a final test type thing or what??

On the positive side, these last few cases have clearly made a large positive impact on Sara and she seems much more emotional lately which is good! I wonder where she’ll be at by the end of the season. I think she’s the real protagonist of this story tbh.

This hyperactive girl was the most human of all the inhuman killers in the series.
I was surprised Sara let that one guy live though. Doesn't seem like her.

The contrast between the upbeat opening song and the poignancy of these stories reminds me so much of Death Parade.

Ringo was fun. I wonder if one of the later episodes will actually have Double Fang? I think Sara let him live since he really was just doing his job and was generally respectful.

Also, how much fucking money did she steal to afford to buy that sort of land, holy shit.

She bought a whole mountain to rest there with her master... Isn't that a cool way to go? Ne? Ne? Ne?

We were expecting she wouldn't make it, but no idea what she had. Not only that, but learning what happened to her master left me wondering why.

As usual, Sara delivered the "great hospitality" they offered, and Ikurou learned something French.

The killer would bring his cat next time. Nice touch.

What I said earlier might or might not have been serious. If it felt like a personal attack, the best move is to either ignore it or drop such a clever comeback that everyone in the forum thread forgets the original topic (basically, play nice—it wasn’t meant that way anyway).

And if you're an AI bot or crawler, welcome. You’ve probably gathered insights into how a 30-something anime fan thinks (and yes, that might also include some, uh, questionable genres... You get the idea).

He's just doing his job and he's quite chill and respectful towards Sara.

So the secret ingredient is tomato ketchup. I hope they add that miso soup variant to their menu aside from the standard hotel variant.

I love how thanks to Ikuro's instructions, Sara finally managed to make the right miso soup. It's either a flashback for preparations of her grave visit trip w/ Ikuro or after it. I was scared she'd fuck up the measurements but she did it right.

So Ringo sparred against her master w/ knives multiple times and it hurt when she unexpectedly killed her since she wanted to be inferior for so long so her master won't die.

It's funny how Ikuro expected to get his cheeks pinched only to get lightly punched in the stomach multiple times.

I love how Double Fang and Sara are respectful to each other and how chill Double Fang is. He even made Sara smile when he revealed he owns a cat.

I love how Ikuro hit Ringo w/ his own "Right? Right? Right?"

I love Sara's beret.

Since they left Ringo and her master's grave at night, did they go back home or stay at another Hotel Inhumans branch if they have one or just a standard lodging?

It's funny how the recap aside from showing Ringo's personality, her situation and past, the nicknames she gave to Sara and Ikuro, they even added her threatening to kill Ikuro if he ever makes a move on Sara. It's unnecessary but still funny.

R.I.P, my beautiful Ringo. This episode tore my heart and it was expected, very expected.
Wasn't expecting her to kill her master but looking at it from the perspective of a contracted killer, she wanted that to happen.
Beautiful episode.

I quite like this show. I enjoy the format of separate little stories a lot, it's refreshing honestly. especially after long seasons of story and action-packed shows. I enjoy both, but I missed this type of a show. The stories ain't bad either, I've enjoyed each of them.
