| This episode introduce us to a new character: Kaga Karin. Her red hair and tomboy-ish attitude makes her quite an interesting addition. Turns out that Renji was the main source of her devotion to fighting games and she is locked in to defeat him to regain her lost pride all those years ago. Naturally Lily intervenes and thus a new friendship was born. This is also the episode where Aoi founds out that cool arcade guy is actually her brother, she even admits later on how stupid was for her not to see trough that disguise. But thankfully there was not so big drama over that as Aoi understands that it was Lily who start the things in motion and it is nothing as serious as Renji actually perusing her romantically. So they had a game together and made up like true siblings should. Overall one more nice and calm episode, that in the end threw us a hint what might next week's episode be. |

| Spiky red hair she devil gamer girl, game rival to Renji. Will she become affections rival to Lily? Aoi imaging Renji and Glasses Renji in her mind at the same time and still does not get it. Lily's puppy dog eyes tame the spitfire. Koga putting on the shades and blowing a bubble was the perfect end to the Renji's disguise scene. Why the hell did a little fairy fly across the screen during the make up by gaming scene? Is that some sort of trope/symbol for awkwardness? Lily and Koga tiptoeing around Aoi not seeing through the lame disguise. |

| It totally slipped my mind that Aoi didn’t know her brother was the arcade dude and that Lily had a crush on him. I could’ve sworn we’d gone over that before, but about damn time they cleared the air on that. Pretty embarassing for Kaga to see thru Renji’s disguise before his own little sister lmao. Lily’s parents might not care about him having an inappropriate relationship with a middle schooler, but I wonder what the class rep will make of and do with this information. |

Curious how an episode about introducing one character ended up being focused on another. Yes, while Karin was the newcomer seeking beating Renji after he beat her while still in school and being a sore loser about it, she was able to unveil the "disguise" he used as sunglasses to seem like a different person to Aoi (seriously, the mask was just sunglasses, it's like the Clark Kent situation all over again).

That was NOT anywhere in my expectations, I swear I thought we'd get Naruto 3 (or whatever they wanna call what comes after Baruto) the anime before something like that would happen. | They added Lily's father to the opening, that's such a nice touch! I adore when anime shows do stuff like that, it shows that the production team do care! I can't believe Aoi took 5 episodes to realize the truth, that's so dumb 🤣 I guess that can be real tho, they know each other so well that if one of them put on a disguise the other wouldn't be able to tell at first glance, that can happen between siblings but here it's over exaggerated of course 😂  I love her, she's my favorite by far ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ |

| @MewsicMagic Wasn't Pixels already the Space Invaders movie basically? But I doubt it will be a documentary, Battleship also was a "real" movie. And to be fair, for as much as that movie sucks (although I guess it's fun in a braindead way), the way they integrated the Battleship mechanic I always kinda liked. |

I am glad the whole bit of Aoi being too dense to recognize her brother and him hiding from her bit is done. Was worried it would just keep dragging on. I wonder what the class president is thinking. | Loved the episode! It started off hilarious, but then shifted into super adorably fluffy vibes. I loved the chemistry between the new redhead, Karin, and her two new friends, Lily and Aoi! Lily’s the cutie, Aoi’s like the tsundere, and Karin’s like their delinquent caretaker, haha. |
