| Hello my dear community, I want to show my utmost transparency and I want to talk with you what happened in this tournament. The Discord server knows and a few of you also asked me the same question, so I will confirm you the suspicion. Yes, we've got someone here who voted with several accounts for his favorites. The damage this shit show caused was limited to the first round, but even so we've got 15 (!) totally obvious one-sided battles who benefited from this accounts. And many more where the votes are split just to look different. That's also partly the reason why many favorites were out in Round 1. We in the Discord server got the suspicion during the second round (that's why the totally ominous post happened after the results screen of Round 2 Part 1/2, you know the one if you didn't missed it). The franchises totally affected by this votes were Blast of Tempest, Fate, Garden of Sinners, Tokyo Ghoul and Psycho-Pass. I'm here to say sorry, I apologize that I didn't noticed it during the first round, but that was because of my own naivety. The users in questions are now banned forever in my tournaments since they tried to play dumb during the confrontation. They called the seriousness, the fair-play we all like to see, "childish". The only childish thing we'd seen was an utterly disgusting display of cheating to push their own favorites as far as possible into this tournament. And if a Waifu War is "childish" to you, my dear cheater, then get out. It was "childish" enough for you to participate in it with multiple accounts. I'm sorry for everyone who got robbed during the first round, I couldn't apologize enough. Let's enjoy the rest of this tournament. PS: I will also not count votes anymore that looks suspicious for me. I hope that's understandable. | No doubt why my nomination (Mahiru) got eliminated so quick even though she performed better in previous Waifu War editions, it's absolutely disgusting to see cheaters everywhere - even in the anime community. The desperation of winning must've made them insane this time, huh? I hope the next tournament won't be as chaotic again, thank you for your time and dedication! |
