| I loved this episode for showing that Baki (and the author) haven't lost sight of the end-goal: to beat Yujiro for doing all those horrible things. But the manga is still ongoing so I wonder how this actually turns out. |
| Suddenly it's turned out to be the best thing ever I thought it was going to be same tournament matches just with different faces and voices I'm starting to liking this again! | If you're gonna have someone get a comeback victory (or at least almost in this case) please don't have them beaten to a pulp so badly that it ends up looking ridiculous when they win. Best examples of this were when Baki fought the Yasha Ape and Hanayama in S1, all of the Shiba fights during this arc and now Amanai almost pulled that off too if it wasn't for Yuujiro interfering. The guy had the seams of his skull broken and a bunch of other stuff too ffs lol. |

| I liked this episode. Baki stops by his mom's "place of death" with Kozue. It's as if the anime creators are saying "Remember the motivations Baki had in season 1? Even though they don't get mentioned in season 2, they're still here." RIP, Baki's mom. In the fight Doppo vs Amanai: Doppo pulls of some awesome moves on Amanai. But as always, everyone turns their back on the oponent too soon. Finish what you start, guys! Amanai still fucks up Doppo's knee and then asks everyone to "please, let me win". He shouldn't really be able to talk with a dislocated jaw and a broken skull. But hey, before the episode starts to turn into complete BS, Yujiro swoops in and makes it interesting. And poof! Baki is suddenly back as well. |

| FIIIREEEE, this was one of if not the best fight in the series man,, so good and intense to the very end, and of course, here is Yujiro flexing in all the losers. |
| Now Kozue knows about Baki's backstory. Doppo's fight was good, to the point that the opponent asked for victory and to stop the fight xD Of course Yujiro isn't happy with that but it's time for rebellion against him? Never gonna work |
