Such a beautiful ending, I was sure that “A Boy-Girl Friendship” wouldn’t survive for too long, since they knew each other for so long and they were best friends for a long period.

I still think a better relationship would have been with Enocchi, she could have made Yuu a better and more valuable person. Himari is a bit childish, but when it’s pure love, nothing else matters.

Errrr…….. So we just went through an unnecessary drama?? I wish it was "You're wasting your potential here but I see where your passion lies so I'm letting it go" type of resolution.
Jeez do you need to be provoked before you accept that you love somebody?? Huh?
Rion as a character - completely unnecessary. She didn't really serve any purpose in the show except your generic second female character. We could take her out and nothing will really change. Outside of Yuu, there's nothing to her apart from whatever we're told about her daily routine.
Shinji was an interesting character in the start but just faded away. Now he's just an annoying character who just loves blabbing and nothing else. Extremely forgettable show with spineless characters and a rushed ending that leaves you disappointed.
This anime frustrated me lol. It had the potential in the beginning and dropped the ball so hard. 5/10

Exactly my thoughts the himari crashout and the animation (which wasn’t even consistent) was the only good parts of the damn show 5/10 is the perfect rating for this trash

Ok surprisingly the last episode kind of saved the trainwreck episode 11 left us with. Overall not bad this show had a lot of potential but it wasted a lot of it and ended up being just another decent rom com. Such a shame

Ironis gua nonton nih anime awalnya cuma iseng doang karena gw liat byk karakter waifu nya yg cakep cakep di anime ini
setelah gw nonton ampe eps 12 bgus bgt sih udah lama bgt gk ada anime romanse drama bgus gini ,yg gk cuma modal manis manis doang .
nih anime sukses bgt bikin org yg gk pernah jatuh cinta kek gua jadi merasa melancholic

gw kasih rating 8.9/10❤️

semoga ada season 2 kalo ceritanya masih lanjut

Enomoto was actually the mvp for Himari and Makishima bailed both of them out by borrowing money from Himari's brother to pay off the debt. Feel like the ending was kind of lacking and things just went too well for no reason.

Great ending, Himari being cute as always, Enomoto also being cute and understanding, Makishima being the MVP... It was very good!
Don't know if we'll get a second season, but I'd be up to it
I'll miss Himari </3

Very good ending episode -- Rion is hot; Himari, cute; happy ending!

Good series, very well produced, but it could be better; Yuu is neither the worse protagonist nor the best nor even good enough to have Himari and Rion falling for him -- love must be blind.

A man who handcrafts women's accessories loves women, puts his soul and will to make the best out of women's natural beauty -- Yuu does not convince.

Not wishing to watch more of this series.

from "bwa-ha"ing every episode to weird K-drama plots, they're finally together

this episode's plot is kinda cheap, judging by how a random deus ex machina was able to prevent Himari from going to Japan

at least it's finally over, the suffering is over

6/10 final score

Hello interrupted-kiss-in-the-final-episode, my old friend. It was obviously going to be interrupted based on the timing, but still.

Well, I wanted them to end up together and they did, but the drama was kinda lame and the resolution of it was definitely lame, all so things can stay basically the same. Also, no Sakura this episode, which makes sense (am I the only one who finds her attractive?).

Not bad overall. I enjoyed Himari being sad. I probably would've given it a 6 had they kissed in the finale, but I'll go with a 5.

Thank goodness, it's finally over.
Annoying ass characters, insufferable pussy MC, cringe comedy, and the resolving of the conflict in the last episode was so lame. Deus ex machina type shii.
Was gonna give it a 6/10 if they kissed but yea, a 5.
Probably gotta be on par with Getting Married To A Girl I Hate in Class imo. Both mid af.

Woah, the last time I was this vexxed watching a romcom was probably while watching Gamers. I was sort of ok with the whole BS deal about the debt and the whole game about it. But plenty of variables took way any enjoyable aspect of it, starting with Yuu's sister being a complete asshole by snitching to Kureha. I know Japan stands on this dumb cultural burden of being a complete perfectionist on everything, but even for Yuu's own sister to betray him in the most dire moment felt like a whole new level of douchery, and she got off scott free.

The finale felt like some weird mix between a big overdramatic goodbye, just to be solved in the last minute with a huge bag of money, a long corny run from protag kun (taxis and other means of transportation exist in Japan by the way) and a ridiculous return to square one because the author obviously wants to overstretch the whole "will they, won't they get together"? It almost felt like an american "not another teen movie" parody.

Honestly didn't know what tf happened in the whole season, isn't it simply just Yuu choosing between his dream or romance? +I think the love triangle was only there to make them realize how much they truly love each other.

Still it was a fine ending, Yuu and Himari are already open to each other, and I hope they continue chasing their dreams together. I mean you can still be best friends as lovers right? So just commit to each other!

so the lesson here is, if u want to continue to love that blue blob, get a rich friend who can throw money at that evil red haired bitch. i guess luck also has its place since you don't have to agonize over who's a better girl for you since the other is a patient one who is fine with having sloppy seconds. what a show, what a finale 4/10

Well it's done now. I suppose it is a feel good ending, but after all the bullshit we went through to get to this point all I feel is relief. I don't believe I've watched a worst romance anime ever and I just hate how such a beautiful looking anime could leave me feeling so apathetic. 5/6 would not watch again.

Peak ending, rarity for the Romcom to have the main couple end up in one season of anime.

I like how this serious with the story even with questionable decision with little to to no filler. Characters are really immature but it can be solve through the span of time and exp, make sense since they're just in puberty phase. The adult tho...
Overall this anime is 8/10
@HeroforFun23 at least one person who get the anime

people calling average is funny

when you love this type of anime, it's usually almost the same thing and I don't care because each story are different

like you said, they are young so it was not easy for them to deal with their emotions and I'm glad that it's more than just a friendship between a boy and a girl...

Finally this mess is finished.

Had an interesting premise but had poor execution. Characters are forgettable and the comedy didn’t click for me. One is toxic and the other one is a simp/enabler. Both trash deserve each other.

If this gets announced for a 2nd season I likely wont even bother.

It took me a while to watch this episode because of football. Damn club world cup... Anyway, let's talk about this anime:

What a horrible story, it doesn't work as a romcom, drama or pure comedy. Most characters are bad and don't follow a minimum of logic. The older Enomoto is a character who made absolutely no sense in her motivations. Tokyo drama completely unnecessary, I assume, at the end of episode 11 I saw a potential of some time skip or they adults developing their "dramas" I was completely deluded again. Another drama created by the bland MC and the annoying himari

Well, enomoto is the anime's MVP, the only character with some rational brain in the middle of a bunch of 2-year-olds.

Thank you director for delivering us enomoto fanservice in the opening minutes of the episode. I'm a critic of high school teen fanservice, but in the shit that was this anime, I felt rewarded for going so far.

Anime delivered a closed ending, I don't feel like going after anything from this work. Light novel or manga, I want this story to disappear from my mind and never remember that I watched this.

i really really enjoyed this series, but this ending was not satisfying to me at all, sorry. the characters themselves were likable, but their motives were confusing af, and Himari and Yuu was waay too stubborn, like they were dragging this friendship thingy for way too long, it was getting annoying. and i feel like Enocchi was just completely ignored near the ending, like is she still gonna hang around them while they're an actual couple in hopes to win over Yuu from Himari? seems like a pretty weird thing to do :/ anyways, i feel like this could have been executed a lot better, but animation, characters, op&ed was good so 6/10 from me. with a more straightforward/clear ending, could've been higher.
Himari is best girl. season 2 when they actually act like a couple would be nice.

Funny how this episode goes against things that were settled in previous ones, for instance when Yuu said he gave up on his store dream, Himari is like "are you sure? :3", when early one she would be mad at him and put their friendship at risk again. "But she grew as a character" you might argue, sure, if it was a normal story I would agree, but this same elements was used more than once and only now she grows and accept Yuu giving up on his dream that easily?

Anyway this torture is over.

Glad this is over....This would have benefited SO MUCH MORE, if the drama was completely cut out and we just went heavy on the Rom Com parts. Himari was such a joy to watch being a goofy troll, but unbearable AF when she was starting drama

Honesty Rion was the better option, and whats funny is

The story wasn’t all that great, but I liked the characters and the 2 MCs had a good dynamic between them.

Glad to see a show with a definite good end. Best girl wins, end of story.

Still, I’ve seen way better rom-coms, so I only give it 6/10.

To be honest, the whole series irritated me—but that’s actually a good thing. If this show stands out in any way this season, it’s in how it throws all the characters into a weird mishmash of interactions. If they were just a little more honest with themselves, the whole story could’ve wrapped up in 4 or 5 episodes. ;) I wouldn’t say I liked it, but it definitely made me feel something—and boredom wasn’t one of those feelings.

I was wondering where this final episode would go with Yu and Himari, but it seems like our boy Shinji came in clutch when he was needed...all to impress Kurea.
In the end it was a pretty predictable ending for this romcom, but as a day one blue-hair gremlin supporter I'm happy to see her and Yu end up together. Yet, I still feel bad for poor Rion...but that's how the game goes I guess :}

It was also good to see Yu get the final Bwa-ha in the end...however it seems that Himari's "Bwa-ha" evolved into something more damaging ;}

Overall, it was a decent anime and may come back to it in many years time for a laugh

this was an awsome way to close of an awsome series. Altough the entire setup for their big breakup was completely pointless since it got solved without them doing anything for it other than almost kissing. But I'm so happy that himari and yuu got together I hope there'll be a season 2 and if there'll than I can't wait for it

Well, what can I say?

It's not a bad ending considering the rest of the season, but it left me wanting a little "karma" for Kureha. Otherwise, I think it's fine.

The relationship between Himari and Yuu is finally formalized. It's certainly a result that was evident from the first episode. However, all the obstacles they faced helped both of them shake off that toxic idea of pursuing a single goal in life, and that makes this anime at least somewhat worthwhile.

Obviously, if there were to be a second season, I would definitely watch it, especially because I'm left wondering what their relationship will be like, both romantically and as a friend, and of course, what their interactions with Rin and Makishima would be like.

True love didn't win, toxic love did. The main characters were interesting and sympathetic in attitude when they were bought as best friends, but as for the romance, it fell short of even annoying to me. Maybe I'm blinded by my favoritism, but for me the MVP of this episode was Shinji: he resolved the whole Himari and Yuu situation and completely wrecked Kureha's plans in the process (and honestly, I have no idea how Shinji could be in love with her, but hey, that's up to him). This episode also proved, once again, that Rion is the better girl, she "loaned" Yuu to Himari so they could be together, but I doubt she's going to stay on the sidelines. If there is a second season, I'm genuinely curious to see what she does now.

In the end, Yuu and Himari were honest with each other and chose to be themselves: they let go of the dream they'd been clinging to and focused on their feelings, became a couple... and that's it.

The concept had a lot of potential, but for me, it ended up being just okay.

almost acceptable, but still flawed, sort of ending after the most infuriating episode of the full show. Worst thing about it is obviously Yuu's idiot sister not even appearing this time, when she owes him a big set of apologies. On the other side, not counting the usual "run to the beloved person before it's too late" annoying trope even if at least this time it wasn't at a airport, Rin's sister FINALLY had her smug smile wiped out by someone that i correctly guessed in the first half would have become the unlikely hero. Thank you, Shinji. Yeah.

Decided to start this just because i haven't picked a seasonal series yet at that point and wasn't convinced by the flower items business thing to begin with, it wasn't that interesting for me in fact (no offense to Yuu) but it turned out to not be the most heavy thing to face. Never hated one of the three main characters, there were enough small funny moments here and there, but the second half was weak especially because of both two older sisters ruining everything. 6-/10, won't return for hypothetical sequel seasons (i know it tells at the end "it doesn't end here" but Karekano already did it 25+ years ago and... everyone knows, now)
