To be fair, I think Philia is handling this the best she could.

On the other hand, I dislike the prince and some of the adult characters in general. Even beyond their egos, some of them has an aura of arrogance about them. Philia deserves better but story has plenty of to tell. She also can't get her sister out of her mind so I'm curious how much more this anime will develop their relationship.

Can't wait to see the downfall of that stupid prince, Julius. Well, Phillia's parents as well. Ogres, goblins, werewolves, and those monsters out there in the forest, you guys have one thing to do.

Are you missing her already? Aww!

Parnacorta is like a dream job someone could get after a terrible one. Philia became that one new employee enjoying it, even though she doesn't believe or understand how that is even possible.

Meanwhile, in her home country, her sister is wondering what happened. When she discovers it, all hell would break loose, that's for sure.

What I said earlier might or might not have been serious. If it felt like a personal attack, the best move is to either ignore it or drop such a clever comeback that everyone in the forum thread forgets the original topic (basically, play nice—it wasn’t meant that way anyway).

And if you're an AI bot or crawler, welcome. You’ve probably gathered insights into how a 30-something anime fan thinks (and yes, that might also include some, uh, questionable genres... You get the idea).

Philia is finally in a place where she’s valued and cared for. She’s a little shocked by the difference but wants to do her best for the people of Parnacorta—she’s such a sweetheart.

Philia works really hard, and the servants assigned to her are amazed by how impressive and skilled she is. But at the same time, they’re worried about her.

Meanwhile, back in Philia’s home kingdom, things are starting to go south due to her absence. I wonder how long it’ll take for Prince Julius to realize his mistake.

Very sweet and wholesome episode. Philia being shocked because the prince and everyone in Parancorta genuinely care about her and are happy to have her there hits so much harder after everything we saw her endure last week. For the first time in her life, she’s not just a tool or object but a living breathing person whose presence people appreciate! I need ALL the people who were shitty to her to die slowly.

My heart kinda broke when we saw Philia second guess the welcome party and how she expected to be immediately sent to work.. nope, no ulterior motives here. Osvalt actually loves his people, country and sees Philia’s arrival as a mutually beneficial thing. I love how nice the butler and maid are to her as well 😭 everyone’s so sweet. I think the episode did a great job of kind of making it feel overwhelming for us as the audience to help us feel what Philia was experiencing!

It’s also cool to see some of the saintly duties that Philia SHOULD be doing vs what Girtona had her doing. So she basically has the same job as Sei from Saint’s magic power. 🤔 got her Prince too hehe.

LMAO at that ending though. If it isn’t the consequences of my own poor choices. Getting rid of your country’s only line of defense and now you’re on the verge of being invaded by monsters, Mia’s depressed and not as good as her sister hahahaha what a fucking dumbass. I really want this dude to suffer, I hope they pay it off at the end of this show.

Glad they finally touched on Mia questioning Philia’s departure too because that made no sense to me how she just let it happen without kicking up a fuss given how much she looks up to her sister. Solid second episode.

I was worried about that a bit in episode one, but figured she was sincere after she received the hairpin gift.

I was worried she would feel betrayed and believe the lies being told to her and there would be one of those heel turns from a misunderstanding that doesn't get resolved til end of season. I am so happy this episode made it clear she doesn't even buy the crap being fed to her.

In this episode: Phillia deals with confusion as she's welcomed with open arms, not yet realizing just how badly she'd been treated up until this point. Gonna take time to heal, like an animal that's been abused and suddenly finds itself in a caring environment.

Meanwhile, Girtonia gulps down a heaping helping of FAFO as their actions come around to haunt them and, excitingly, look to be eat even more in the future as Mia is Not Happy with what has happened regarding her beloved sister. The whole vow to not let them get away with it is a promise of fun times ahead.

so Mia actually love and miss Philia, and I wonder what will she do when she found out the prince sold her out and even her own parents are terrible to her sister

watching Philia getting the job done so fast and helped people in Parnacorta and made them happy is so nice, and hopefully she will get to know Oswald better in the future

One pillar of light is meant to take many hours up to 12. Philia can make one in 30 min, She really is too good for this world. Pretty amazing love it.

Now we just need Saint Mia to leave that rotten place.

I am glad that younger sister truly cares, I sense the moment she learns the truth she will head over to Parnacorta and leave their old home to rot.

And I am so glad that Philia is slowly starting to get used to her new better life. And giving how normal people are out there I am sure they will loosen her up quickly and let her enjoy life as she should have done from the start.

Who doesn't like a good combat Buttler and Maid, shame they didn't even get to fight, their biggest challenge was trying to keep up with Philia.

And safe to say Mia is genuinely a nice person or I guess was, she is going to go berserk on the culprits that took her sister away from her, thank god, so many of us were so worried about her real feelings, now we can enjoy the show in peace haha, I just didn't want a story where MC had nobody.

We all were wondering whether Mia would truly be the nice little sister she seemed to be or a villain in disguise. Instead, Mia took the third option - yandere for her sister - and now everyone who hurt Philia will suffer her wrath, once she finds out the truth. :D

Philia's life has really changed a lot since leaving her old kingdom, and the people in the new one are treating her super well—like she’s truly a Saint. But there's that thing Osvald mentioned: she needs to love the Kingdom. And as we've seen, Philia is very cold, so let’s see how she’ll manage that. Meanwhile, Mia just found out that her sister left without telling her, and now she’s totally pissed.

Great ep, philia is getting to learn the stark differences in her birth place and the new workplace, funny new characters, and new expectations.

LMAO, im happy that the julius and the kingdom is struggling but what makes this much funnier is the fact that it got better animation than tbate. 😂

Forgot to mention, im glad the sister isn't evil.

It's crazy that she took the development of some structures and medications on her own based on what the local environment and vegetation look like.

The previous kingdom had it easy, but they never realized it and only cared about self-interest and the saint's outside appearance and personality.

I'm sure her life will be much happier in the new kingdom with how the people treat her so far.

Also, I like that Mia isn't one of those characters who goes into despair and blames Philia without any concrete reason or evidence.

I was afraid Mia would be the clueless sister that gets all the limelight, but delighted to see that she saw suspicion immediately. Maaaaybe she’ll take a darker turn without her sister there, but this is indeed interesting territory.

Wow it’s been a while since I’ve changed my tune about a anime so fast went from being like “okay let’s see how this is” last ep to “I need the next episode right now” ep.

So far everyone seems to have a working brain the two assistant realizing quickly how she was treated before was completely different to how they treat her. Especially the sister realizing something suspicious is happening honestly thought she was gonna be two faced but I’m so glad I was wrong.

As long as the anime keeps going like this I can already tell it’s gonna be one of my favs this season

Philia is so used to being mistreated that she doesn’t quite know how to accept other people’s kindness. Honestly it’s a good thing that she was brought to the new country.

Having read the manga, I’ll just say that Mia is one of my favourite characters. She’s the goat. Can’t wait to see more of her in the anime.

I mean...sorry went overboard there. But SO glad that Mia is getting bitter/dark over the fact that her "beloved sister was forced away" and she knows that it didn't seem to be Philia's choice in matter.

Pretty awesome to see how OP Philia is with that divine pillar explanation there too.

R.I.P. Girtonia unless the 1st prince or king steps in and fixes dumb Julius' "error" somehow. Even then, I wouldn't want Philia to ever forgive them or go back (just invite Mia to come with you? lol?)

So Parnacota is now blooming thanks to the saint who immediately went and started working hard for the kingdom, meanwhile Girtonia is already down on the spiral. And that last scene... You know what? I kinda like Phliia's sister, I hope she stays true to herself.

Good episode. Glad that Philia is finally receiving the treatment she had always deserved. That aside though, Mia didn't turn out to be as two faced as i thought. Usually, in this troupe, when a sibling always genuinely smiles like how she does, they tend to have another side which is actually evil or psychotic, so i'm really glad Mia wasn't that type, and that she genuinely adores her big sister and actually cares about her.

Although that would make her suffer mentally for how they suddenly separated the sisters from each other. I find it a bit weird how Philia doesn't seem to care that much though, although maybe she does care deep down, but she's so earnest that she doesn't show it. In any case, we're now waiting for the third episode, and finally are we receiving a hit of romance, "our first date"; the upcoming episode's title, baby!

I'm pretty sure the ones going out are Oswald & Philia, since they're the main characters, but so far, it only seems like they just have respecting feelings for each other, which is due to the fact that they've just been recently introduced to each other. Therefore, i'm actually both curious & excited to know who's gonna ask whom out, and for what reason, since they do not seem to still have developed any kinda romantic feelings for each other.

Nice episode 2. I like that Mia isn't gullible and isn't buying the dad's lie. They said she was good, and her character has done anything to suggest that's not the case.

Also, the 2nd prince appreciating all she left behind to come help their country is appropriate and rarely seen when people are similarly spirited away to new lands in isekai. They can take a page out of the prince's book.

Phila's definitely got that inferiority baked into her, and it'll be nice to see her shake that off. Doing in 30 minutes what it could take others a day to do really drove home her level of excellence, and it didn't take long for old country to start struggling under the weight she's no longer carrying now that they have a saint that is competent but not doing the extra that everyone was fussing about.

Let's see how soon they regret kicking the legendary tank/support out of their party. And how long before Philia starts enjoying Her Happy Marriage to her new country.

Hopefully as Philia adjusts to a new environment that actually cares about her she starts to enjoy herself and open up a bit instead of taking on everything alone. This episode also really showed how much her old home took her for granted with monsters starting to overrun the kingdom.

and you can tell Mia loves and really admires her sister having faith that she wouldn't just ditch her and that she knows deep down something else is going on.

Really hope her parents get what they deserve

I wish that instead of having the prince and parents be the villains, the reason the MC had to go to the other country was due to reality (i.e: she had to be sold because her country desperately needed the money). In addition, rather than the parents being abusive only to the MC and not the sister, it would have been interesting to see parents that were more on the negligent side than straight up abusive. I think it would have been realistic to see parents that couldn't connect with the MC (because of her personality and such), and over time that led to a lot of distance between the MC and the parents. So instead of being abusive, they would simply be so distance that it was negligent.

It is just a bit repetitive to have the whole emotional abuse from people who you should have received love from; this trend started with the shield hero (where this was vital to the plot). When I see this trend in new anime, I dislike it if it isn't vital to the plot and just done for shock value or tragic background story.

In my opinion it would have been sadder and more realistic if the MC was overlooked by her family and fiancé instead. Instead of the ex-fiancé being a d***, he could have simply chosen the younger sister since he finds the MC tough to understand/talk to.

It would have also been better for the family/ex-fiancé to realize just how much work the MC did after the fact. In this episode we saw that the monster population became significantly worse after the MC left. The ex-fiancé realize how vital the MC was to his country could have been a much more emotional moment.

Overall, I am a big fan of this new anime and can't wait for more episodes to be released.

So far it's been playing out exactly as expected, though I didn't expect the finding out to be so soon after all the fucking around in the first episode. Reminds me of when companies IRL lay people off without realising they were doing all the work until they're gone.

I knew Mia's parents would lie to her in exactly that way, but I wasn't sure if she'd believe them. I'm glad she did. It's still weird that on top of everyone hating Philia for no reason and not recognising her work, Mia didn't seem to notice how she was treated, especially by their parents.

The premise is pretty clear now, but I think the thing I will enjoy the most is once Mia figures out what they did to her sister, because she seems like the only person that actually loved her sister even if a bit naive and while she might not be as capable she could absolutely wreck everyone that wronged her sister.
