| Tateishi's supervisor Hayakawa is quite the charm (except her drunken state), though encountering Somei and then just naturally syncing together, how can you not smile with glee at that? As much as both Tateishi and Mitsuya have their usual couple troubles, Somei and Hayakawa are similar-minded, and there's chemistry between them as far as relations goes. But clearly, Mitsuya's cake product hasn't been doing well, and Mitsuya feels the pinch like she's the only one being in full force over the development and not get the recognition she should be getting for. Of course, Tateishi understands this all too well and reassures her all the same. Even Mitsuya's coworkers Chiharu Utou and Yukiko Sakura feel the pinch from their own department's works, and also the jealousy of hearing Tateishi's praises from other coworkers that has Mitsuya all riled up...that got her thinking that she may be slacking too much against her own boyfriend. And for that, she really dressed up the part to seduce Tateishi as much, though he dismisses their views as him being his usual work stance. And for that, the steamy sexual session sure got the both of them all heated up, even if the perchance of meeting each other at work. Tateishi's proud of his significant other...and there Mitsuya is, just blushing all the way through. |

| Really looking forward to see how Somei and Hayakawa's (the manager lady, right?) relationship blossoms. There is an age gap, but hey, milfs are to die for. If he calls her "mommy" at any point in this anime, automatic 10/10 rating EASY. A little communication goes such a long way. In too many romances, anime or not, communication just does not exist in their vocabulary. Sure there may be reasons for their miscommunication or lack of communication altogether, maybe very good reasons; but IDGAF. It just makes you want to pull your hair out sometimes. But when a couple actually talks to each other, without having to wait absurd amounts of time? Such a breath of fresh air. Tateishi notices that Mitsuya is looking troubled (which is another great thing. In 80% of other anime, bro is not going to notice shit, whether it be for 'comedic' purposes or to stretch out the plot of whatever tf), asks her what's up, she shares what the problem is, and he gives it to her straight that she has to expect her product to not perform amazing right out the door. Granted, maybe she was acting like a bit of a child in expecting it to do amazing. But I'm not in her shoes. It is something she seemed to have poured her heart and soul out for and had high hopes for it. Also it's not wrong at all to except SOME reception, but it looks like she was getting absolutely none at all which is discouraging. Anyway they talk it over and the next day or so some girls buy her product so it's all good for now. More importantly though, she goes on to share something that's been weighing down on her regarding their relationship; that maybe she is not doing enough as his girlfriend. To which Tateishi swiftly replies: I like seeing my girl messy. Guard lower-ed, comfortable, vulnerable, you get the point. And honestly? Freaking yes dude. Idk about you, but there's something mesmerizing about messy buns and bedhead. Sure you don't want to date and absolute bum and want someone who can clean up nice, but a balance is the sweet spot. Like you've heard or seen before, get a girl that can do both; and Tateishi has achieved just that. And wow, Tateishi receiving what I'm assuming is some nice sloppy head from Mitsuya despite probably being a little sweaty after a day's work with no shower? Mad respect all around. Also you might expect this to be a fanservice-y scene right? But nah, it's almost as if you want to cry for them seeing just how happy and at peace they are with each other. No overkill jiggle physics and excessive moaning- just emotion. Tateishi also pulled what is probably a smart move at the end there, revealing to the girls fawning over him that he does in fact have a girlfriend- without saying who specifically. That should get them off his back a little bit and put Mitsuya more at ease. Man, this looked like some boring ass generic romance that I'd have not really considered picking up. But I did, and 4 episodes in, it has actually gotten better and better with each episode. Pardon my brainrot-ish language, but massive W's in the chat. |
