If you want to really call it unfair show the data of the last 10 years in which in every season it happened and proof how it's unfair not just re;zero because it's your favorite.

I get your point but most of the time something gets downvoted this much through these years it’s usually one of the top ten, or something like isshisoku reviewers, or something that took no.1 with 2 or 1 eps.

It’s always annoying when you enjoy something a lot but the ranking on MAL is meh. But OVAs, movies and continuations get made based on money made from tv revenue and merch in Japan, so MAL scores mean nothing. As long as I enjoy something and it doesn’t get dropped through lack of popularity in Japan I’m happy.

There's nothing unusual here, every popular series has gone thru this while airing, AOT, Oshi, Frieren, and many more, and the % of 1s always goes down once they finish airing and those who complete it rate it

Just want to point out that re zero, with less people having rated this season than Dandadan has 5x more 1/10 ratings. Sure people can rate whatever but when an anime has almost 100k more members than re zero, yet isn’t being down voted as hard than this show, it just annoys me more than nothing. Like for anything yes it has many 1/10s but if you think this is truly a 1/10 after watching 50 episodes of this shit, get a life. Or if you just rate it a 1/10 not having watched any of the previous seasons just to downvote, get a life. This is one that deserves a high rating for its actual quality. It’s adapting incredibly well for a studio as passionate as white fox plus as understaffed as white fox. All I am asking is for this people to just realize that you’re thrashing on a studio that has poured hours to produce this while having less than optimal number of in house staffs and is constantly trying to give us, the actual fans, the best possible adaption of this series.

I would agree but not till the end.

The working conditions aren't to take into account when rating a product. If you vomit right after eating at a restaurant the chef's pay check doesn't matter. It was shit.

Going off of that, you’re not wrong but there is still a sample of people that do base off ratings and will not watch it, showing Kodokawa this isn’t worth their time and resources. Yes re zero is popular but are there plenty of funders for their merchandise that despise the show because their favorite girl didn’t win? Also yes…

Fandoms are shit but the very small minority can’t disregard the story’s amazing storytelling for that it’s any less than any mediocre shounen jump manga that’s bringing in tons of revenue. The appeals to re zero are so niche that it doesn’t get enough attention despite being objectively better than many highly rated, mediocre shounen manga. This season was the most anticipated show for this fall season and yet has been overthrown by Dandadan, something with more of an appeal to a wider audience, plus it’s rare for a sequel, with an already established fan base to be overtaken by a first season. I know Dandadan is different but it’s not one of the biggest mangas ever published to surely take over one of the highest selling light novels.

@BlatantKid Oh what a shame, those hundreds of accounts should've just given 1/10 on Boruto instead of Bleach. Such a missed opportunity to send Bratruto to the 5.xx gang lol (well if MAL failed to detect 'those hundreds of accounts' as bots).
