| 1. Nier Automata Ver1.1a ED2 (Chibi-chan's ED could be cute, but simple chord progressions are just not my thing) 2. Oshi No Ko OP2 (It'd had been good to have these two in the finals, since they're my two favorites from the tournament) I also liked the Nokotan OP a lot, not ironically. It's catchy without being repetitive, it has a lot of meme potential but it's not monotonous at all like many meme-songs are (looking at you Mashle 2 OP), it has a choreography to dance at the conventions... but what I liked the most, was the inclusion of a timesig change before the chorus. You don't see timesig changes in meme songs everyday. |

If it was any other show/opening, I would probably go with Makeine instead, but you're going against arguably top 3 OPs of the year. You did good Komari, now rest up. This was a fun contest, really interesting to see how a lot of people rate these things, whether they look at it holistically, or approach from either just the music aspect or animation aspect. Can't wait to see the Fall season one! |

| 1st : Oshi No Ko OP2 (Fatal) [Sorry Komari-chan you did well to reach final and ED is very sweet (specially when she turns and smiles at the end in the Episode 11 one). But it's still 2nd best ED even in Makeine. Fatal is a masterpiece in all senses (specially Visually)and even rivals the GOAT Idol. I hope it pulls through] 3rd : Elusive Samurai OP1 (Plan A) [Didn't watched Nier but the ED is really good. Deserving semi-finalist but inferior to Plan A imo] |
