This leaker did the same thing before he is known as huge Re:Zero and Bleach hater. However, just because something is confirmed doesn't mean it will be released in the next four years. We've seen many anime projects stuck in production hell for 4-5 years. | I saw it yesterday and I was very happy to finally see some news, I don't know if it's true or not but at least it gives us some hope. Without getting into spoilers, they have to adapt 3 arcs in one season (44 chapters) if they want to make a season of normal length and not leave the story in the middle of an arc, so it will take them time. If all goes very well, we will not get a new season until the first quarter of 2026. So be patient my friends or read the manga like me xd. |

| There is enough material for at least one full cour, no? Or even more. At least that's what I heard. Good news, if it's gonna be officially confirmed. It's always bad to see a successful series left alone without any sequel, when its story is far from finished. Edit: Yeah, I've checked that there's enough manga content already to make a sequel, though it might not be enough for a 28 episodes long anime. I haven't checked those chapters, though. I don't know how many of them have action scenes, and how many have just regular Frieren atmosphere, with calmer and slower paced storytelling. |
