| Are there people in the anime industry, including authors of adapted works, that you follow outside of specific shows and are always excited about news of their new work and involvement in a particular project? What was it about them that caught your attention and allowed you to set them apart from other writers, directors, animators, VAs, etc.? VA is a separate conversation, but I personally have also always been interested in following the careers of famous screenwriters, especially if they have written many original scripts and/or are themselves the authors of popular manga or LN. My top is Mari Okada, Ichiro Okouchi, Gen Urobuchi and Jun Maeda. Some their works bring me more butthurt than excitement, but at least sometimes their stories please me more than my favorite adaptations. |

| I would if there was more time in the world because there are lots of interesting stories or simply developments to how an individual's career evolves. Especially when they're involved in another industry, like video games, and end up working on an anime. Nevertheless, I don't follow anyone, except I've recently been watching fan-dubbed clips of Yoshitsugu Matsuoka every now and again because the image he was branded with is funny, 'harem king.'
