| My first Pokémon game was Platinum, on one of those weird cartridges that had a bunch of games into one. I never ended up completing it since, as far as I remember, my kid self deleted a bunch of games' data from the cartridge, including Platinum. The first game I actually owned and finished was Pearl. |
| Pokémon Red... how easy to guess. I think after that, I got Hey You, Pikachu!, which of course was damn near impossible for me to play, and I never got terrible far in it as such. Ruby/Sapphire were my favorite for the longest time... until I finally played past Gen 4 in 2020, and found out that Gen 5 is actually pretty good. I still have a soft spot for Gen 3, but Black/White are my current favorites. |

| Mine is Pokemon Red on the original Game Boy (Although I had a GBC at the time and used that to play it). I remember it being a great game back then and all of my friends were also into it, but I think Game Boy games look somewhat aged now although I enjoy playing them still. |
