| Most battle shonen and isekai don't offer anything to the medium, although I wouldn't expel either entirely as there are still many great series from both genres. For series particularly, maybe Tokyo Revengers and with that Takemichi as well for characters. The series itself is too melodramatic and childish even by generic anime standards, while Takemichi has got to be the most annoying mc for me after Deku. Getting rid of the studio that animated Berserk 2016 would do a lot of good for the medium as well. |
