These are the Otoko no ko I really want you to tell me about. My pick goes for Agito/Akito in Air gear. First of all I love the fact that only one of his personalities is feminine (Idk, maybe further in the story the dominant personality also swings XD), it gives his character nice contrast, He'll f*cking kill you (That is the "motto" of Kogarasumaru) but he'll also shoot "water guns" with you in the bath later. He's simultaneously cute, but he's also cool. It's also really heartwarming when the easy going personality likes you and gradually the hardass personality also starts liking you. | @Stomiks It is true, although I am not sure if after a certain point there is a different word you call them by, the thing about Otoko no ko is that they are still considered male, by themselves and those around them. Like I said in my OP I don't know all the intricacies, but this is how I understand it. @Zarutaku Rimuru counts I think? (his body is technically modelled after a girl but his "mind" is that of a man so it's a weird edge case), Ruka definitely counts :) |

| @VivaceRex I really wish some Fujoshi would chime in on this. It kind of sounds like this character is transgender, and while it might technically fit the requirements for what is an Otoko no ko it kind of feels incorrect to call them that. As far as I understand Otoko no ko consider themselves male and are also considered male by others, in any case that is the kind of character I was thinking off when I made this thread. |
