Honestly, I had the same vibe as well after the defeat of Etemon from Season 2. Otherwise, ya. I don't think the episode touched me as much as that episode though as it seemed to almost border on humor at times the way this episode is portrayed. |

| This was a weird episode, with furry Takuya wandering the city and stuff. But it was pretty good too. Poor Takuya with his PTSD. I'm not sure if he time traveled or is seeing a digital memory or something else. I'm glad he came to his conclusion on his own, convinced himself and me the viewer of his convictions. |

| The Frontier's equivalent to Adventure's ep 21. Digimon's at its best when it decides to go the weird, gloomy and trippy mode. Loved it. |
| Takuya. Takuya changed into a digimon? Duskmon? They can see Takuya. Dat fire. Takuya's home. Nani? Takuya is inside the house? Time travel? Interesting that time travel was involved. It was pretty obvious Agnimon was the adult level form and Vritramon was the Perfect level form. I did wonder what a child level form would look like and I got my answer, especially since Takuya's digimon form has the fire symbol on it. I like how Takuya's body didn't go back to normal, but instead shinka'd to Agnimon. The usual return tp the real world turning point episode where the MC finds their resolve. I like how it was 1 episode off from Adventure so you know it was intentional. |
