I have a feeling it will get better, but this first volume just wasn't all that interesting. |

| Takezo storming out of the bathhouse butt-ass naked wielding his signature wooden club. Classic. Weird how he did not expect to be ambushed with the Granny acting the way she did. But maybe he didn't care. And he repeats that line: "If you're gonna kill me, I'm gonna kill you first." -- Seems like a motto he lives by or a lesson someone taught him a long time ago that he took to heart. I am really enjoying Vagabond. There are some weird and kinda clumsy plot developments so far, and Takezo seems pretty overpowered so early on. But I love the intrigue, the pacing, the artwork, and the escalation of plot events scene by scene. Looking forward. |
