Ayame sure is being awkward in his attempts to bond with Yuki. I hope Yuki does what makes sense to him and won't feel pressured to become closer to Ayame (who can be SUPER annoying, what a bullshitter). Another piece of Tohru's mother's wisdom, how nice! I wish the story would spend more time on the main characters' development instead of continuously introducing secondary characters so frequently. I want to see more of Tohru!

Ahhh Ayame is the cutest snake in the world! His characters and stories are great. I hope Aya and Yuki can open up to each other and be close. There’s definitely hope to bridge the gap, I’m excited.

Really like jokester Ayame and Shigure's lovers act but I also feel even more bad for poor Hattori for being part of the 'true bff trio'. Funny how Yuki is the Rat and his brother the Snake, makes their current brotherly relation even more fitting.

ayame, one of the funniest sohma characters, can't get enough of him.

unlike the first version of fruits basket that putted the target of the show to show each souma, in this one it seems the characters are introduced to do something big with all of them. hope to see that happening already.

Well, we got introduced to a new zodiac character. The snake, who is Yuki's older bother. And I must say, overall Yuki is very much the much better brother of the two.

Yuki's older brother is creepy, weird, sleazy, vain, and up himself. He is my least favourite character, and tbh, it kind of sucked that they literally made a whole episode about him. And the whole male sex fantasy shop thing...like wtf.

But hey, now I'm over half way through season 1, so that's cool.

Yet another Souma family member is introduced and is the Zodiac animal of the snake. Ayame his name and man he was a lot of fun in this episode. There's a thrift between him and Yuki but man he just wants to connect with the latter, yeah that's relatable alright. Apparently Ayame is Yuki's older brother which I wouldn't really have guessed because of how he looks entirely. I really liked his stories and he was just making me laugh throughout this entire episode. Poor Kyo got Ayame in his bed there. XD

More wisdom from Tohru's mother proving that she is indeed was a great mum to her daughter. Hope Ayame gets to reconnect with Yuki, even if the latter can stand his guts but as Tohru says there's still hope to bridge the gap as it were. Really good episode all around.

So Snake-boy is Yuki's brother! And could he be any more handsome? 😍 His charming personality and playful antics are such a breath of fresh air. It's clear he's going to be a delightfully entertaining character to watch. 🤭

But the enigma that is Akito just keeps getting thicker. The mystery of his exact relationship to Yuki, coupled with the hints at a shared health issue, has my curiosity skyrocketing. What is the story there? And how does it all tie back to the intricate web of Zodiac secrets? I'm on the edge of my seat, desperate for answers. 🕵️‍♀️

Every episode peels back another layer, and I'm here for the unraveling, even as it leaves me with more questions than answers. The dynamic between Yuki and his brother adds such a fascinating dimension to the mix, and I can't wait to see how it all plays out!
