| Really underrated anime. It went from a 7 to a 9 level soon enough and I enjoyed it a lot, the comedy was good too. For Miri, she's one of the few kids who actually act like kids in anime (she didnt even change that much when she grew up lol). I see they went for the good ending where everyone lives happily which is great, I was expecting it to be where they leave her in an orphanage and they get to sacrifice themselves for her while trying to destroy Rei's dad organization. However with the current ending, this could leave an open door for a season 2 where the organization successors try to hunt Rei and the others again and Miri could be a hitman like them to help Rei finally take down the organization? hmmm Nonetheless, its a 9/10. If there was a 2nd season i'd for sure watch it. Idk why I ignored this thinking it would be like a budget Spy x family but it proved the opposite, i'm glad I watched it now |

| I wish this was a bit longer, I'm gonna miss them. The last episode was a bit too rushed and I don't like that they just killed off Miri's mom like that :/ I guess they didn't have time to solve that conflict any other way. Aside from that I really enjoyed it. I think it's funny that in the last minutes of the last episode they just had to throw in that Kazuki is still going out with women. Like that would stop anyone from shipping Kazuki and Rei. |

| Stories with kids stories don't always show them all grown up, but I'm happy this one did. Rei's hair also grew out! |

| A gorgeous anime. Hands down, BETTER than Spy x Family. I know that's a ballsy statement to make. They really nailed the depiction of a child here. From the way she looked, spoke, and acted. This is one of the first anime I've ever watched to accurately represent a real young child's mannerisms. Anime or not, I think it's important to be relatively grounded so that the audience can suspend their disbelief and be immersed. And I was. The 'daughter', and the fathers, felt human. The fathers' character developments and backstories were so well-done, and added some great depth and nuance to the story. I don't know what could've made Buddy Daddies better. It's a 10/10 in every way. No criticism. The anime was wholesome. The ending was happy and stellar and left no loose ends. Easily one of the best slice-of-life/action/comedies I've ever watched. Beautiful. I love it. |

Kinda hoped for more action and episodes but, honest - two darling dilfs, their diner's delicious food, their spoiled daughter, can't disagree with this ending. Glad I picked this up, cheesiness and everything. A fun ride while also tearjerking, tasty and warm like butter on a french toast. |

| cried like a baby when they showed the time skip. I wonder how Miri reacted to the death of her mother (since she had that photo of her mom on her desk, I assume Miri must've been told.) Also curious about her reaction to finding out how her dad died? although unlikely, a season two would so interesting. |
