| i really like this alot! i havent watched kaguya like everyone so this one is a top 5 for me. the starting was a bit whack and hard to watch, but once he realised his feelings, i've enjoyed it a whole lots! |

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |

| The comedy is not repetitive, has some good character dynamics (only the MCs tho) and progressive romantic subtext. Other than the overused "Yamada's Gluttony" this show can be said a good romcom. But calling it best is very subjective. |

well, oregairu is indeed one of the best romance but I highly doubt its comedy tag. Even though there's comedy in title it's not technically comedy |

| There are literally thousands of romcoms, I'm not quite close to watching/reading every one of them and neither are you so we can't really answer the OP but At this point I'm quite positive that this is the best franchise out of the so called Takagi-san genre that got an anime adaptation That doesn't sound like much but it's actually quite significant because there's quite a lot of them In other words imo it's far clear of Takagi, Kubo, Komi, Uzaki, Nagatoro, Ayumu, Duke of Death, Uzai Kouhai, Aharen, Ueno, and Shikimori As for Kaguya I'd say this is a better romance and Kaguya is a better comedy |
