| I'd say it's underrated. One of the best battle shounen that we have, but you need to understand what its purpose is and try to accept all the bullshit. Once you open your heart to the bizarreness, JoJo will be great. |

| I understand how its style and characters don't appeal to all, but for me, it was the over-the-top feeling that made it fun. Also, I definitely agree with part 3 (and Akira), slow pacing and plot holes made it a pain to watch. It wasn't until around a third into part 4 where I really got attached. |

Or if you liked it what did you like about it? I have seen people get tattoos of the characters and it hs such a strong fanbase that I was really looking forward to it but man I'm disappointed. By the way, I am a JoJo fan myself, but I consider Part 3 anime as one of the worst animated Parts. It almost made me think that perhaps the concept of creative fights having Stands might not be for me. Luckily, Part 4 was several times more entertaining and made me really enjoy Stands; enjoy to the point I cannot imagine new JoJo stuff without them, haha. While I was totally not fond of the anime, I found Part 3 manga as really, really good and way, way superior to its anime adaptation. It's one of my favorite Parts in manga format. Quite bizarre, eh? Anyway, perhaps you will like another Part way more than others. However, you've mentioned that you are familiar with Parts 1-3 and didn't like them that much, so maybe it'd be the best to just drop the series. No need to waste time on something that doesn't feel fun, even if a lot of people recommend it. |
| Part 3 is where I dropped it as well, its just so boring. I'm making may way through the manga to get to the later parts tho, as I've heard they're good. |

| I don't know who said you that Stardust Crusaders is the best part but it's definitely one of the weakest part in the series. JoJo is really hard to get into. And I wouldn't really blame anyone who dropped JoJo during Part 3 or even Part 1 (tho it's only 9 eps). Part 4 and later part are JoJo get really good but unfortunately Part 3 seem to be the most popular one. Anyway just move on if you don't enjoy it. Calling a show overrated after only watching its weak part is just kinda stupid. |
| JoJo is my favorite anime of all-time. But if you don't enjoy JoJo, that's perfectly OK. :) I can definitely understand what it feels like to have a series hyped up, only to find out that it's (IMO) bad. KONOSUBA, Chainsaw Man, My Dress-Up Darling... |
