Why did main bad guy intentionally go into a bad matchup corviknight vs charizard when we know he has a ceruledge (that apparently doesn't have flash fire or weak armor). He was telling friede to take it seriously but he himself clearly wasn't. Then another horrible blunder from bad guys with not using skarmory with it's quad resist to grass against sprigatito whose only move it's used is leafage? And even after she lost with golduck, she just...didn't use her other pokemon and let Liko go?

How are they gonna give our main character their first win off screen. We literally don't get to see her finally win, it just is told to us that it happened.

And then how bad are these body guards that they can't take out pokemon that unevolved starters with no training can?

I don't expect competitive vgc strats from the anime, but like come on, they can (and were before now) do better than this. It's a shame because the plot and characters are good. For the first time that I've watched, pokemon actually has a sense of urgency and danger that is very welcome and our child characters are fairly mature for their age despite still clearly being children.

Maybe the badguy thought he can win regardless of type matchups.

If you mean constant battles. I beg to differ. I wana see good pokemon battles. I don't mind it. This is pokemon where battling is what its about as well.
