Are we enjoying ourselves or not? Do we like it or do we not? Maybe that person was right, we shouldn’t keep on lying to ourselves. |

| I feel the same. Literally got a God's gift gifted to him on a silver platter. And there were so many ridiculous things and items, that made me feel that even the shittiest games have better balance. If I didn't see all that, I'd feel like he was like this from the beginning, but now each time I see him, I'll remember that he didnt deserve all this. You don't even need to look outside of this season to find a clone, there's: "I'm a generic aristocrat god in isekai" and "isn't my smartphone the most original way for me to get OP in this isekai?". The "ability" to go back and forth doesn't make it original, it makes it BORING, it removes any challenges or stakes, there's nothing holding him back, nothing able to stand against him, quite literally the god of both worlds hindered only by his own inability to be anything except fucking lame.Deane said: It’s still a generic self insert isekai plot: “fat bullied guy that is actually a really good person on the inside gets a lucky chance to skip any hard work and instantly become the ideal Mary Stu”. That’s not to say I’m not gonna watch it, but let’s not lie to ourselves here that's a long explanation for something that's so generic...and i cant really think of any isekai anime like this lol 😂 he also has the ability to go back and forth between worlds which you almost never see. and even if you still believe it's a generic plot, they have undeniably good delivery. vanilla is the most generic flavor of ice cream but some places vanilla ice cream is better than others kinda thing. This show is about nothing. We're only at freaking episode 3 and the episode was already arguably 95% filler, no over arching plot, no sense of progression, nothing. |
