| And that's, ladies and gentlemen, how you write interesting characters with a backstory. If it was regular manga, mom would have died to add more "tragedy", but you can tell the story even without that. |
| Thought for a second mister rich guy was that ghost dad but then it doesn't make any sense.. anyways this shows how long Isshou and Kaisei goes back. |
| What a great look into her rival. We understand him and his skin in the game and it really adds the texture to his character and does a great job setting up the stakes for their battle. |
