But if someone wants to hit back, go ahead, as long as it's the same treatment. If you slapped someone who just insulted you, that's a no, but you're allowed to insult them back, and if they then hit you then you're allowed to hit them back if you really want to go through that hassle.

Your example is literally stating that the girl can't accept her own nasty treatment back at her so resorts to violence. She's spoiled, she's never been hurt in her entire life and playing victim has always worked for her. They were a waste of space to begin with. I'd say go for gender equality. I get it that men are conditioned to cushion up even to the vilest women. And considering that most men who were hit as kids learned from their actions, it's worth a shot if that's the only way they'll learn from theirs (not for as long as we treat a female culprit as a poor victim just for getting responsibility and karma). If you also know you're way stronger than her, I would say to be lighter on it, but then again she hurt you knowing fully well 1. she was going to get no repercussions, or 2. you'd be lenient on her. If you don't hit her back, I bet she'll just hit more guys throughout her life and may even be a domestic abuser, but like I said, for as long as she's being pampered in sympathy, she won't change.
