| I'm looking for some series that really make you feel a certain emotion whether that be extreme happiness, sadness, motivation, etc. Ones that really hit you hard and make you feel those emotions. For example, something that was so sad that it made you cry, but that can be for any type of emotion. I haven't seen much so just take a quick look at my list to avoid suggesting things I've seen. |

| Definitely Gintama. It can give you a hard laugh and tears of sadness/joy/impression at the same time. Same With GTO - great teach onizuka. It can be very funny at times followed by sadness which would impress you from the joy of its accomplishment. |

| Kemono no Souja Erin, probably the most heart-warming anime out there. |
| Princess Mononoke and Nausicaa always give me a huge compassion for nature and for other people. Chrono Crusade made me cry towards the end. Code Geass made me feel every possible emotion to the point where I felt emotionally violated. Kanon 2006 made me really happy inside even though some of the parts were quite sad. Grave of the fireflies was really sad. |
| A lot of good recommendations. I'd add Kimi ni Todoke (Its only halfway done, still ongoing). Its Shoujo too. But for some reason, its really heart-warming and I can't help but smile a lot. =] PS: I did watch Forrest Gump before it, so that may have affected my mentality towards it in someway. :? |
