Esola and KNoCC making their way back to the police research facility for more information, especially since the blast furnace incident. Coincidentally meeting the sister of the famous Climb group STAND-ALONE's leader Kite Hitosuyabashi whom she is suffering from a fatal accident and needing organ donors for transplants, and KNoCC getting booted out of the fact that they are Androids, and the world is much bigger than its idol themes alone. While for KNoCC the money is to pay for their daily expenses, Kite's reason is not to support his sister but support through his own means. The dream of Nagi to see her brother onstage in Babel, and she certainly doesn't mind Androids.

To fulfill Nagi's wish, Cobalt thinking of bringing Babel to her, it's a great idea. And using the storage room for one, while taking the advice of the mysterious choreographer, Esola tries his hand at creating music while the prep is underway to bring Babel to the hospital, while Kite observes from the back. This might be small, but at least it raises Nagi's hopes recovery and seeing an actual Babel performance for herself one day. But Kite still stands on his own two feet, at the disbelief that Androids can also move hearts.

Certainly, every episode gets even more sneaky with who the Androids of KNoCC truly are.

Pretty heartwarming episode. :)

KNoCC made Nagi's dream come true, kinda. I'm sure one day she'll see the real Babel.

Esola did a good job with the song.

I really like how the story is developing here.

I'm a bit confused. In the original project Kite is an android, or at least he's presented as such, since he has a serial number and all that (and every main character in the series is an adroid), but in the anime he's a human? Is the anime a seperate story or what?
(I don't know who he is in the game since I haven't played it, but I'm guessing he's also an android there)
ChroNoiR Episode.0 is the best anime to ever exist

So this is Tower of God with Idols in an anti android/robot culture.
Have seen worse and at least it isn't another Isekai full of fan service.
Wonder is this is an arc in the game or separate story?

I don't think I've ever felt this conflicted to drop an anime or not. I don't really care much for the idol stuff. Like it's not really my thing, but I don't think I mind it too much here? I really can't decide whether to drop this one or not because I'm really interested in seeing where this story goes. I think for now, I'm going to say I'll watch the next episode, and if I'm still interested even by then, then I guess I'll stick around? lol I was totally expecting to drop this one today

The idol stuff might not be for me but like I said, I am interested in seeing where the story goes from here. Like what was up with the factory robot incident, and who created these androids? There's clearly something special about them.

I also have to admit that the anime just looks nice in general.

I can't believe it but I think the Ice Blade anime (or whatever it was even called lol) is going to get dropped first this season, which is so odd because I was so sure I was going to drop out of this, but I guess that shows that this anime is doing something right. Not entirely sure what that something is but hey, I'll be back next week :D

This is so much sci-fi worldbuilding for a series where the MCs solve every week's conflict with the power of singing and friendship. There's an ongoing murder investigation, organized anti-AI bigotry, singing idols are given power in the world government. They haven't figured out synthetic or cloned organs yet, though? There are androids visibly indistinguishable from humans, but people are still dying waiting for organ donors.

Songs are fine. The dance sequences are in the uncanny valley for me, but that seems par for the course for idol series. The android characters all still seem kinda flat, but maybe that's intentional, as they function as support for Esola's growth?

I'm still not sure what to make of this series.

Okay this episode had no right to be this dark.
I'm not really a STAND-ALONE fan but it was nice to see a bit of Kite's backstory.. Also the fact that KNoCC (Cobalt mostly) are developing his Kokoro.. I think they are those few androids that were made with "Kokoro" function to learn emotions? Man, it sure is something..

And here comes Mister Nobel with another disguise (and he looks better than before, thank god)
can't wait to see what happens next honestly

Actually the anime takes place before the events of the mobile game (Technoroid Unison Heart) and I agree that Kite is surely an android but in this anime he definitely seems human. Let's not forget this strange guy he met at the hospital that is the leader of "The Human of Future Project".. I have a feeling he will become an android later on? Guess we'll see.
The official Technoroid wiki states that Kite is a 20 years old human (the anime Kite) so maybe there is something to it.

I wasn't really planning on watching this show, since idol animes are hit and miss for me, but the story has me interested to see what's going to happen next. On the surface, it seems like a regular idol drama, but we're clearly in a dystopian type world that's been beaten down by global warming. (Seal levels went up burying cities. People have to walk around with heat protected coverings) There are androids that may be killing humans and there's a human faction that has all things robots.

I'm intrigued!

Does this mean that Kite will "die" by the end of the series and become an android? Is that the mystery surrounding our lovable androids? Are they former humans who have been uploaded into androids as a way to create robots with hearts?

I have more questions now lol

This is reminding me of last season's Renai Flops in some ways, but I suspect there isn't much overlap between the audiences of the two shows so probably no one will get what I mean lol

poor humans need to eat so much, so inneficient :v

meeting the famous Kite and his sister, the guy was nice at first but went into mad mode when he discovered they are androids ... i wonder if he is worried because of the robot problem at the factory

ok it's for a different accident, a random robot killed their parents in an accident ... for all the "safety first" orders it had, it sure didn't do it safely lol
that being said, androids are not like those ugly little robots, so maybe they will change his perspective
sister went to appologise, while Kite got an enconter with some shady guy who wants to use his parent death as a reason to join the anti-robots ... if nothing else, Kite, being famous and everything, is a good asset to them

sister will be in the hospital for a long time, waiting for organs, damn that sucks
they wanted to make a performance for her, and while she will probably enjoy it, it's not the same thing, she wanted to be able to go there, it would mean she could finally leave the hospital

Neon was coded to artsm so he wants to do stuff like making new clothes or change the backgrounds, funny
also why is he so cute? damn it haha

esola managed to make a sound, and the white haired guy from before helped with the background, overall imitating the tower, everyone had a lot of fun with that short performance (come on at least do a couple more songs or something lol)

well, let's hope Nagi is lucky and manages to get her organs (maybe our team will help advertising or something)

Kite was kinda right "how can heartless androids move people's hearts" ... except they have something similar, we saw Cobalt one multiple times already, and the police robot confirms it

i'm sure that call is from the bad anti-robot guy, let's see what heppens next, let's hope he doesn't something that will make his sister upset at him lol

why conflicted? if you like it, you should watch it, it's simple :D
just like you, male idols is not my thing, so i'm also sure i would never pick this one in a normal season (i just decided to watch 1st episdoe of everything this season since i have time), but i'm liking it so i'll watch it :D
hopefully my only drop will be High Card (i hated it), and maybe Legend of Heroes (for being a sequel to a game i didn't play)
but that will also mean i have to keep watching too many things, which might be a bad thing :D

I'll keep watching for now! I have been enjoying it but yeah the idol stuff isn't really for me.

There aren't really that many shows I've been thinking of dropping other than the ice blade sorcerer one

This anime is checking both dystopian sci-fi and idol clichés at a steady pace: in this episode we had e.g. robot racism, hospitalized sibling angst and a miracle composer. Despite its sort of lackluster execution I've still been enjoying the audacious genre combination so far.

Given how in most cases the androids seem to have passed as humans until revealed otherwise and are likely the only ones of their kind to exist, it's odd how they're not cautious about sharing the fact that they're robots at all. Their programmer either wanted to prove a point or just didn't think things through, lmao. I'm loving the mystery related to their code though!

Dafuq- that siscon! Not him slapping my boi's hand! I hate him! Those androids he called heartless are a lot nicer and more human-like than him!

That white-haired dude was there to help them out again. This character is mysterious and interesting.

I think the four were made to have hearts? That's why they feel and have emotions. And that white-haired dude might be one of their programmers or something.

Btw I love how their eyes are drawn. <3

Three episodes done. I am hooked and will finish this anime this season. <3

I love how different this is because typically Esola would be the probably self insert Otome heroine who is trying to date each boy...but instead with have Esola a boy without any other family members, bonding with boys who also do not have any living family members, each character on a mission to really find out what it means to be alive and to form bonds with people around you. Its really beautiful and this episode highlighted the beauty of the show with showing how the boys including Esola can affect each other as well as those arounds them. Touching the hearts of the kids confined to the hospital was incredibly touching and made me tear up. It was beautiful.
