Yeah, I think you need more genetic diversity than those two kids to start another civilization on that planet. Harlock kind of doomed them :/

Interesting episode, but that ending though :p

Pretty decent episode in general.

That ending is rough - and the "Attractive female character we've never seen before is introduced - surprise she's secretly a Mazone spy!" plot element is getting predictable.

So our heroes leaves two very young kids alone to build new society. These kids are also siblings......

Definitely not one of the stronger episodes. Still for a 42 episode anime, Harlock's hit/miss ratio is pretty great, so it's easier to forgive the occasional misstep.

Also I know it's shitty to judge people based on their skin color but hers was blue. >.>

Romeo only mentions Ikaru as his child. It's never explained who the girl's parents are, but considering there are 30 humans there she could very easily be someone else's kid.

It's too bad that Doctor Ayn had to die. He was a good man.

It's up to those two to repopulate that planet now.

@CountZeroOr Yeah I was thinking the same thing. I think Leji might have been dumped and harbors a grudge against attractive girls, literally every babe except Mime or Kei have turned out to be evil Mazones lol.

It was really interesting seeing the series acknowledge that humanity would be living on other planets. although 30 people on one planet is a bit small it was a pretty nice episode, definitely one of my favorites
