| I am from Russia. My first anime at the age of 8 was Candy Candy. I watched it before school. Of course at that time I had no idea it was anime, for me it was simply an interesting cartoon. I also watched Pokemon, Sailor Moon and many other animes. My favorite anime is Candy Candy, partly because of this anime I became a doctor and help different people in need. |

| I was born in Seoul Korea but became an American citizen in the late 70s. I have been to Japan several times in my life due to my parents traveling as missionaries back and forth from Korea to Japan. Been married to a Japanese woman for about two decades and currently living in the united states. I have a daughter who currently lives in Tokyo Japan but plans to become an America citizen once her duel citizenship runs out. I don't have a specific favorite Anime, Manga, Light Novel, Visual Novel, or JRPG But I have probably been watching Anime a lot longer than most users on this platform. |

| I'm from Algeria, I watched anime in my childhood like naruto,.., pokemon..etc but when I was 17 (2016) I got bored from playing games and wanted to try something new so I tried to go to an anime site and I remember that My hero academia was finished airing the first season and it wasn't popular anime in that time I give it a try and loved so I tried to search about season 2 so I found MAL and this site helped me to see more and more anime that's better like AOT which is my number 1 alongside with Stiens;Gate. |

I am Russian, and I am banned from literally all streaming platforms and am blocked from buying any stuff at game platforms like Battlenet or Steam. Yes, for the sole reason of being born Russian lol. I am a 32 years old guy who has been watching anime for 12 years. Started too late (at 19-20) and a fan of retro anime (new things are appreciated, too). My taste is chaotic, as I may choose to like or dislike something by an unfathomable whim. Pardon my bad English. |
