| Man, what a packed episode, first Kamo was hilarious in this one, loved the Yugioh references and the fourth wall breaking, he’s just out here living his best life amongst this heated romcom drama lol. But man I do feel for Jiro, he’s really split between Sakurazaka and Watanabe seems like, it definitely hurts to see Sakurazaka with the super handsome Minami but you can definitely see the love between Jiro and Watanabe. I’m personally still team Sakurazaka but I can tell it’s not gonna go her way, these Jiro x Watanabe moments are top notch after all, especially that final scene which makes his imagination go wild lol. Needless to say I’m super enjoying this series tho. |
| i'll admit this gets unbearable to watch at times but there were 2 moments in this episode that were really well done and loved to see them. first one was the hug part, i actually had a feeling that he would go in for a hug, that was a really bold move but i think a right one, they should have gained a point or two for that. second was the part where akari confesses that he was her first kiss, that whole part was genius, loved it. other than that the kamo going "Squee" was funny as heck. still i'm quite uncertain as to what to think of kamo's character, is he the funny one or is he the smart and mature one acting funny or he's just a dork, very hard to say. he does get kinda annoying at times. reminds me of shu from nisekoi he's such a great mc's male best friend. overall a very enjoyable episode. |

| His best friend makes it really entertaining to watch, and the Yu gi oh reference is really funny. It's nice that she finally reconciled with the mc. |

| This show is turning out to be way better than I expected. Kamo is unusually funny for a comic relief friend character, I especially like the meta joke about him not even being given a name until now. Akari is also very cute, her and Jiro have great chemistry and are enjoyable to watch play off each other, the visuals remain beautiful as well. My only real complaints are that Shiori is quite boring, and Minami is more of a plot device than an actual character. |

| Some drama in the middle but things get resolved by the end, enjoyable. |
| So this episode covers chapters 7-8 that starts of Volume 2. Another misunderstanding as Jiro thinks Akari kissed Tenjn while he was talking to Shiori. It seems like Shiori and Tenjin are not going to swap partners now that things are going so well between them. Akari still has feelings for Tenjin, but realizes that she may not have a chance to be swapped in as Tenjin's new partner causing her to be sad. Jiro tries to cheer her up, but things keep getting awkward between them and eventually Akari cried in Jiro's arms. Akari is back to her cheerful self and starts teasing Jiro and tells him that he didn't kissed Tenjin and that his first kiss was with Jiro making him uncomfortable of the feeling he has for Akari. I really like Kamo as a comedy relief character and the Yu Gi Oh references were hilarious. The JRPG elements that were added to the anime gives the story more nuance than your typical isekai. |
