I'm not saying the CGI is amazing and it could certainly look better but what I'm trying to say is that it doesn't look as terrible as the people bitching make it out to be. Even if it's not great, it still looks fine.

I can see youve seen heavens feel and your name and mob and countless other things that dunk on mappa or at least objectively are all in the same conversation. So chill ‘kid’ and maybe look past the copium, the ep wasnt bad but that animation from mappa that, as you put it, is great at cgi, was sloppy. Stagnant characters in an otherwise 2D landscape do not need to be cgi, there was legit a cgi door in one scene…. Why.

I agree i think it just the tension to make a popular manga live up to peoples hype plus mappa puts out some amazing fight scenes so the bar is set extra high. It more makes me negative since they are so overworked and have so many crazy anime to make that all have potential to be top anime that i hope they dont cut corners where its not needed ya know? Like jjk is perfect animation wise so anything else they put out is bound to get held to that standard
