AMD announced their 7000 chips today :^)
Just a thread to share your thoughts about it. Are you looking to invest in the AM5 platform or Intel raptor lake. Or sticking to your current system.
I have been thinking of moving to AM5 platform now and then get the last chip amd launches for am5. They have promised to support it till at least 2025. So the upgrade will be big.
Intel Raptor Lake will use most likely use LGA 1800 and Intel Meteor Lake will likely use LGA 2551. Intel already has plans for Meteor next year, so LGA 1800 doesn't have a long upgrade path.

seriously only 2-3 years life span for AM5?

i dont have money to upgrade right now and im only a low end specs user so waiting for the next Athlon they gonna release
