She is suppose to be a grown woman yet she sounds like she is in middle school. I always imagined that she was going to have a mature voice like Maaya Sakamoto or something. | I somewhat agree. Although, I have high hopes that the high pitched voice is going to be one of those my-voice-is-lower-when-I'm-serious, like other characters (e.g. All of Higurashi's characters, Hange Zoe, etc.) and it may be the case for Makima as well. |

I mean at first, I was questioning who would voice Denji’s voice, my first initial thought was Nobuhiko Okamoto, same with Makima, maybe a mature voice, like Yoko Hikasa or Miyuki Sawashiro. But the official voices announced came as a surprise. But a voice is a voice, subtle as that may sound. I know Makima’s official VA said she wanted the role cos she had a chainsaw man poster and was praying that she would get it. |

Regardless of my opinion on what I hoped the character's voice would be, when a voice actor is a fan of the show, you know they will give it everything they can (which is a good sign all the time) |

And money is money, a voice actor can do what they wish when it comes to getting roles. You’re already getting on edge over a 2 minute trailer; watch the first 3 episodes and do as you wish.
