I don’t think it is in production yet right? The translation at the end of the episode was “Season 5 Production Scheduled”.

If it’s not in production right now then most likely it will release at the end of 2023 or somewhere in 2024.

earliest prediction is, 3 months. S4 was SUPPOSED to release October 2021. covid probably screwed that up. since the books ended with a finale in vol22 back in March 2020 there is ZERO source material delays left to complete the entire anime adaptation.

so, with a delay of six months that means .... let's see... the first announcement for S4 came March 15, 2020. that's 9 months in '20, 12 months in '21, and 3 months in '22. ah so pretty close to exactly 2 years between the 1st announcement and the premier episode. yup, if they split the cour of 24 and just decided to name it DAL4 and 5 instead of a part 1,2 it would work.

furthest out prediction, 1 year. so Spring 2023.

GEEK TOYS was working on the Date a Bullet two movies as practice. so they've got their spurs now, they're a veteran of the DAL franchise. i don't see from their listing on MAL they've got anything scheduled for Summer 2022. so that's a solid 3 months of no new work. shrug, if they've got anything for FALL or WINTER i've no clue...

so like i said, 3 months to 1 year. because it took GEEK TOYS 2 years to make S4 but they've got more practice now... so the production schedule should shorten.
just an ol school American otaku enjoyin the life. don't sass me kiddies, i've been otaku probably since before you were born. leave me in peace and i won't bother you either.

Im going to give it 2 years. Looking at recent trends

Rent-A-Girlfriend - Summer 2020, with the sequel coming out summer 2022
Kaguya-sama - Spring 2020 with season 3 coming out in spring 2022
Uzaki-chan - Summer 202, season 2 in summer 2022

Seems like roughly 2 years is a decent benchmark for an anime sequel when its announced shortly after the season aired.

Because its only confirmed a new Season but they didn't started doing it, I would say in the ending of 2023 or beggining of 2024

At Least 1-2 Years for preparing
