I loved this episode so much. The whole thing was such a great Alolan reunion, and the 3v1 battle was really exciting as well seeing how the dynamics between all 4 competitors continued to change. So many touching moments with Ash and his Alolan family too! Even Koharu and her Eevee got a bit of growth in this episode form their short scene with Lana which I wasn't expecting for an episode all about Ash.

Everyone cheering for Ash during the end of the battle was so uplifiting too, it made me cry a bit seeing how much all of the region loved Ash, and the Tapu Koko cameo at the end really solidified that. Overall, another fantastic episode!

Another amazing episode, that "champion" chant almost brought a tear to my eye. It's refreshing seeing Ash get all this recognition. This episode was an excellent reminder that Sun and Moon was one of, if not the best season of Pokemon yet.

Pokemon's recent episodes are better and better, this one was seriously amazing, back to Alola and seeing most of the previous characters was already great to begin with but the battle royale 3v1 battle with everyone screaming "champion" to cheer on Ash was even better, not to mention Tapu Koko appearing at the end!! Now Ash is ready for the Masters Eight and hopefully he'll win!

CHAMPION! CHAMPION! CHAMPION!
It looks like they finally gave the writers the green light to be more open about this and decided to "let the word go", cause they took the opportunity to really overemphasize Ash's status in this episode.
The script finally highlighted the reaction and perspective of other well-known characters in relation to the fact that Ash is the regional Champion and is ranking up in the World Championship, all of Ash's friends from Alola in this case, even showing that they have been following his campaign all this time. So far just as expected, but I thought they accomplished it in such an expressive and gratifying way... It was very satisfying to see everyone's recognition in such a manner that it seemed like a loving message to Sun & Moon fans (flashbacks with the same art-style from there) as well as what could be, perhaps, the most important emotional push before getting the greatest title of a Trainer in the Pokemon world (like can you imagine all Alola people cheering once more and more strongly than this for their Champion if there was a "next time" for Ash to try the PWC in the anime? Idk...)

EDIT: This is one of the few times I don't feel like a Journeys episode is on autopilot.
They've managed to make the main event (battle royal) the least important thing, focusing instead on conveying the connections and feelings of the characters behind it. Ash realized that he is not just "the champion from Alola" but the champion OF THE PEOPLE from Alola.
All the big moments (Mohn's return; everyone cheering for Ash at the end) and small moments (Ash & Kukui in the beach; Kukui's son imitating Ash, Chloe asking Lana for advice etc.) in this one has soul.

Koharu meeting Lana was quick but nice way to settle the Eevee is not evolving topic and I feel this is the first time she watched Ash and Pikachu battling.

Cuteness overload with two Eevee.

The chant was a very touching moment (Ash's birth certificate should be change from Kanto for Alola at this point) and got me very eager for the Master Eight and what might be the end of this season.

The true ending to Sun and Moon. Back to back great episodes from Pokemon. I enjoyed every second of it and getting to see all of the characters from the Sun and Moon series. Ash getting his recognition as champion and the reminder of how Sun and Moon was about family.

Champion! Champion! Champion! Champion!

I said bad things about this series when it just started. I'll take that back.

This is one ep that made me teared up a bit since after all these 20 or so years Satoshi finally get recognised as a Champion.

When your dream finally became a reality. It’s been a very long journey ever since a 10 years old boy left Pallet Town with a stubborn Pikachu to start on a journey of fulfilling his biggest desire to be a Pokemon Master.

This EP left me all teary up from reminiscing about the long path and numerous memories that Ash got to experience with a variety of people and Pokemon he came across with. The moment the crowd began cheering for Ash as the CHAMPION was wholesome. For someone who’s been an avid fan of the franchise ever since a little kid and now I’m a full-time adult, this is an emotional feeling for me. Almost two decades of watching Ash’s wins and loses battles. Now, he is a well-known Pokemon Champion around the world.

Alola is a home for him. The region in which he never expected to be warmly welcomed and hailed as the first-ever Champion of the region. Kanto is a fine place but it somehow feels distant to Ash since he doesn’t have enough fulfilling memories with it. Contrary to Alola, in which he feels the support of everyone around him. Maybe it is because of how the anime executed things but nevertheless, it’s no doubt that Alola is more than a home for Ash and Pikachu. Due to this, Ash is likely to represent Alola more than his hometown Kanto in the World Coronation.

The Master Eight Tournament is really one of my most anticipated clashes of champions in anime history. Each regional champion fought each other to hail the champion of the champions. Leon (Galar), Cynthia (Sinnoh), Steven (Hoenn), Lance (Johto), Diantha (Kalos), Alain (Kalos), Iris (Unova), and Ash (Kanto & Alola). Once again the franchise proves how powerful the Kalos region is by sending two well-known champions from it, all thanks to the first and most notable Pokemon power-up gimmick, the Mega Evolution.

I am really clueless about how the franchise will turn the whole battle results out. Most fans perceived that this was Ash last season and yet I am wishing this to be a misconception. I am not ready to bid farewell to the boy who’s been the face of Pokemon for 26 years. I want more seasons for Ash and Pikachu; especially now that Pokemon is slowly welcoming the beginning of a new generation, from the announcement of the Scarlet and Violet games.

Ep 112 of Jn's was very good, in this episodes, all the situations are perfectly mixed in, and the battle royale was good everyone cheering alola champion ash for the masters 8 was very well executed. Good alolan episode.

I give this episode 8/10.

Another 10/10 episode from Journeys. That "Champion!" chant. A glimpse into what could happen if he were to achieve his dream he set out to fulfil all those "years" ago. As someone who liked S&M more than popular opinion would have you like, this was pure unadulterated hype.

Every battle that Satoshi has had in a stadium felt like he was the Underdog and not the fan favorite. It's so damn refreshing to know that he has the Entire Alola region on his side in this upcoming Masters Eight. So Happy.

Oh Boy...looks like Goh will catch another Legendary Pokemon...awesome.

Alola just hits different you know. The atmosphere!
Ash getting recognized as champion. That one guy in the crowd "Remember you're representing alola!!!!! " Ash has his stakes high to not fail his citizens. He's still young but in the future (when he's grown up ) he'll have much more respect as a champion from other regions too. (he's still new) unless he gets defeated his title will be taken away.
Ash's theme is now mostly Alolan than where he's born : (kantonian)
he should take his alolan team to the championship.

I like the tension they gave ash here.

Ashs zmove was able to stop tapu kokos z move. its a very strong z move that sends alot of diffrent colored thunderbolts to the opponents. Ash definitely won that.
or else Ash would have been like " hey champion Kukui "

Another outstanding episode, this time featuring the return of the entire Alola cast. It was so awesome seeing them all in action again in the battle royale. The crowd chanting 'champion' at the end was so satisfying, once again reaffirming the entire tough journey that Ash has been on. The rematch with Professor Kukui and the touching scene at the end was especially epic to watch. Man I really do love Sun and Moon so much, so these last two episodes have been an absolute treat. So excited to keeping watching through this final stage of the series.

Otro episodio genial que cierra la historia en Alola y que, por fin, le da el reconocimiento a Ash como primer campeón y representante de esa región en el torneo de maestros.

This episode brought me so much nostalgia for me from the Alola region days. It looks like Ash still sees Professor Kukui and Burnet as his second family, which was really heartwarming to see. Pokemon keeps delivering great episodes back to back!! I'm going to miss this series with Ash.

Alola has to be the region Ash is most emotionally attached by now. If he wants to take a break after becoming world champion, I think that's the place where he would stay.

Again the Alola region

It's incredible how Kukui's son has grown up and Satoshi hasn't yet. The coolest part of this episode was the crowd shouting Satoshi as champion
