Okay, well nice way to end it, of course the whole season just feels like setup like Clannad S1 but I expect Refrain to be way more interesting, anyway it was still pretty entertaining and fun to watch, I like most of the characters, but now I'm ready for the sad part.
It was a really enjoyable series, and the characters are all awesome! At first, Komari was my least favorite and Kyousuke was my favorite; now though, I'd put Kurugaya as my least favorite and Kengo as my favorite (I like all of them though). I'm really excited to find out the secret of the world in Refrain, here are my theories for what it could be:
1. Riki and Rin are hallucinating or dreaming everything that's happened (it would make sense given the info on the secret we've got so far, but I don't think it'd work well in a storytelling sense)
2. Some kind of time-travel/time-loop related things. Gears and clocks have been mentioned multiple times throughout the series, and it could also explain why Kyousuke wants Riki to lead the Little Busters, like maybe he's hoping that will change things?
In general though, I'm pretty sure it's going to be something that completely changes everything. I guess the third theory I can come up with is that it might have to do with some kind of memories of the past?
Whatever the case, I'm really excited to continue :D
seems theres comedy and school fighting in this.
seems a guy called Kyousuke is back, two guys fight because hes back. One strong with fists, the other with a sword.
Rin's first impression she seems like a very adorable girl, love her small cute voice!
"we vanquish evil and deliver justice" they are the "Little Busters!", seems like what they are.
Riki seems innocently cute.
nice art btw too.
I LOVE Sasami's attitude, I always loved that type of character, with the cocky snob and "oh ho ho ho" laugh.
Kamikita arc, episode 4 - 6 completed. A psychologic past of her dead brother.
Theres a lot of character development in the story for most of the character or maybe all of them.
In this series, theres these weird letters that asks them to complete all the tasks to find out the secret to this world.

Kamikita seems like she has her own moe. And Rin being shy is super cute. Very cute character she is. Favorite female characters in this anime, Rin and Kamikita already!
.... Honestly I don't like the protagonist being a little boy in physique/voice, I would of liked a normal high school teenager student, not a small plain one with a little boy voice.
Though I do love his narration in the story about the characters and his analyzing.
Disgusting how the mature hot Kuragaya-san is interested in the boy protagonist.
Little Busters!' normal scenario's are really cute and sometimes funny, but very cute to watch.
Kud is really moe female character as well, her catch phrase is "wafu". She's very cute.
After Kamikita's arc most of the episodes are about solving problems while presenting new characters.
Saigusa and the President are very exagerated characters, the president is way too strict in tiny little things, and Saigusa is too much of a stupid troublemaker simply not stopping to get in trouble.
Saigusa Haruka arc, episode 16 to 18.
Wish it was more detailed somehow, liike its own ova of their story would be nice. They're both lovable at the end.
I love Saigusa's personality and looks. Very cute with her awesome stylish hair.
[Episode 4:]
Kud a new cute character who uses a lot of enrish.
Kamakita maybe has a lost brother that she remembers seeing him in her dreams only.
[Episode 5:] Seems Kamikita's brother passed away, and for some reason she doesn't remember and no one wants to let her know.
Riki-kun and Kamikita-san go on a date. She remembers her brother dying from seeing a dead cat in the rainy street.
[Episode 6:] Kamikita uses Riki as a belief that he's her brother to stay mentally stable.
[Episode 13:] Something supernatural about Nishizono-san. She's always been wearing a parasol because she has no shadow, her name is Mio. And theres been this other girl that looks like her who is called Midori and the complete opposite of Mio.
Somehow they're missing shadows of themselves.
[Episode 17:] Mio Nishizono's story. I don't fucking get it. She was a normal human being when she was born, then suddenly she starts talking to the mirror, and herself in the mirror gets out of the mirror, its her little sister. Then the doctor says its an imaginary friend, Midori. She then loses a part of herself, her shadow. But... how come Mio dissapears after Midori comes when Mio is the original? And then she flies away as a seagul? But they then become one again and are back to the world...... what a weird/unclear supernatural.
[Episode 16:] Saigusa's arc.
Futanaki is actually her twin, from the same family name.
[Episode 20:] 3rd letter. To help a guy who loves Sasegawa Sasami.
[Episode 21:] Kud's arc about her mother. Her mom's rocket launch failed at, episode 22. Kud goes to Tenwa but is then kidnapped by the rebels in Episode 23.
Second super natural when everyone's feeling for Kud to not give up and Riki says "hang in there!" and Kud's precious charm gets teleported to her from Riki somehow... She's fine escapes and comes back. It was a beautiful sight art to watch. Episode 23 END.
[Episode 24:] 4th letter, puppet show.
[Episode 25:] something with Kengo, then he joins the baseball team. And next episode they're having they're first baseball match. Kyousuke maybe predicted Kengo's hand getting injured to play baseball and be their last member. Kyousuke says hes going to leave the Little Busters! and put Riki as the new captain, wtf?
[LAST EPISODE:]
Great cute heartwarming presentation of friendship and that one day everyone moves on with their own life.
The baseball game scenes is extremely cute and heartwarming, beautiful.
In the last minutes they show a preview that the secret of the world is still not known, as a second season PV.
Didn't expect a 2nd season!
Not amazing like Clannad or Angel Beats! but still really great. Enjoyable, and really cute. true 8 score.
This whole anime was aggressively OK, some arcs were far weaker than others. Komari and The blue haired girl (I can't remember her name...The irony, Oh, the cruel irony!) really struck an emotional chord with me, I can feel Komari's pain, and the blue haired girl's wonderfully romantic, horrifyingly nihilistic philosophising sucked me into her wistful reverie of the void. I can't say i've never had the same thoughts about slipping away...
But then we have weak arcs like episode 25 and Kud's first arc that were, and I hate to say it, boring.
Overall, i will have to give it a 6/10.
Also Masato is best boy, fight me
Old is Gold
"Look, look, we can do spinning shots without wasting our entire budget"
"Did you see? Look, it's all smooth and everything !"
"You're not looking, please, it's SO AWESOME LOOK AT HOW SPINNY IT IS!!!!"
I can't believe the post above said what was I thinking: Maybe the most agressively okay series I have ever seen. It's not bad in most aspects, it fails at being good in many aspects, but all of the series feel very basic. Aside from the Kud and Saigusa's arcs, the series was incredibly meh. The pacing was not the best, animation was aggressively average as expected from J.C. Staff, as well as the drama and the comedy. Would be a 5/10 but, again, the arcs I mentioned and the overall mystery to be solved (I expect) in Refrain) are enough for this to be a 6/10 in my opinion.
