I didn't give shit about Eris until she attacked Orsted like there was no tomorrow. Became a fan of her since that point.

Well the best episode for me is when orsted appear and just clap rudeus. Like it makes us interest about who he is and as an antagonist it can give us more about the future event

Easily 17 or 18. The whole Paul and Rudeus conflict was one of the highlights of the whole season. It felt pretty real with how shit happens and people make mistakes. Highlights some real character flaws and development from Rudeus. It takes courage to reconcile and apologize from a real personal parent/child fight like that. It was very emotional.

Turning Point 2 is cool and all for the whole plot advancement and character moments, but I felt like the LN or manga did it better.

S1 P2 Ep 6 was easily the best and among the few good episodes. TP 2 was also good but mostly for the shock value.

I would also say P2 E10 Turning point 2.

But imo, P2E11 has to be the most effective episode of both parts, since it was the beginning for Rudy's character development. After a lot of Drama, Rudy, who never cried even once in his life, finally broke into tears.

1. turning point 2 ( felt like I was watching a oscar winning movie )

2. reunion ( the most heartbreaking yet heartwarming episode of the entire show and one of the best in general)

3. last episode ( this is how I like last episodes to be, more of psychological rather than big fights)

It's a really difficult choice for me.

'Turning Point 2' was brilliant and super riveting for the plot and the action department with superb directing throughout the fight while serving as great buildup for the future of this series (which as a light novel reader is incredibly exciting with future seasons to come down the line). The way the staff portrayed Orsted was outstanding and terrifying.

But then there is the 'Family Squabble' & 'Reunion' episodes together that made the show feel a lot more special and thematic than your standard story from the subgenre and was pretty emotional and resonating with me and my personal struggles in some ways so those are ones I would cherish a bit more.

On top of those three episodes you get the final 2 episodes of part 1, 'Dreams and Reality' and 'Wake Up and Take a Step' (which was an episode that made me actually call my mom and dad to let out my emotions to them after not speaking to them for months due to my own personal shortcomings after seeing how Rudeus was in the past with his self-inflicted prison after being bullied with feeling like he doesn't deserve any help and that there was no hope for him to even think about coming back outside) which were phenomenal, incredibly emotional and leaving me feeling empty and depressed at times with ongoing events from that series and really showcases to me how attached I am to the characters and the story in a special manner in spite of bad first impressions on both Rudeus and Eris and knowing that Ruijerd isn't a perfect person either from the get-go. Did a brilliant job with the character department and the way the other people's journeys were included to show how much Rudeus changed their lives positively in spite of tough scenarios, to juxtapose his view on himself after the end of Episode 22 was incredible and depressing to witness.

Part 1 is a great introduction to the series but Part 2 definitely had the best episodes. Those episodes I mentioned are too difficult to split between, they all did an incredible job emotionally and story-wise on me, and improved my relationship with my parents and family in the process after years of running away from them. Still a lot is there to fix but this show opened my eyes in such a way that I'm just grateful to be an anime fan for this alone.

Turning Point 1 (your vote) Orsted's appearance was pretty neat also best dilf material!?!?!? , the change of ambience color when the Red Dragon flies indicating the intensity of the flame and the Red Dragon is lucky to not be able to say Hitogami thankfully.

Turning Point 2. That episode was simply phenomenal. The atmosphere, the tension, the music, the voice acting, the movie level animation. It was also a key point of disclosing necessary info and context for the future development later in the story and possibly in a sequel beyond that.
