| Quite the ambitious outing. I agree with many that it felt rushed, but it's also hard to judge as someone lacking in her Japanese history knowledge. I wonder how many of the things I was confused about would be inferred by someone raised learning it? |

| So a bit of Perry expedition mixed with Kagoshima bombardment and Sakomoto Ryouma's protest in bending the knee to Anglosphere coupled with a bit of creative freedom - the movie .It was lukewarm -not grade a nor bad either |
