The same thing happened with Re:Zero season 2. They announced both cours(13+12 episodes) at the same time and there was a 4 months break between the two airing. Mushoku Tensei was also slit cour(11+12 episodes) with a few months break between the two airing. |

| Lol, Shield hero fans are something else. Ya'll should be just grateful you're even getting a new season while most Anime while being good never get sequels. Even Attack on titan Season 2 had a 4 year gap with only 12 episodes and I saw no one complaining. |

| lmao this is the same shit as saying its split-cour but calling it season 2 and season 3. i expected 50 episodes with 4 years of waiting. |
| Not going to lie I'm a bit disappointed in the 13 episode count. I'd rather have season 2/3 combined to get a 26 episode season. But that's just how it is. We can't forget that every anime fan is going to be eating their fill this Spring, we got a lot of recurring and new anime to look forward to. |
