| I feel like many people slept on this show. Ratings are almost 1 point lower than Dress Up Darling and popularity multiple times. Even on social media there is not many people talking about it weekly. I don't feel like this anime is worse no quite the opposite. And I don't understand the backlash about how this show is about sexualizing minors and pedo bait. On that note I can say Marin is 14-15 y.o too. People are missing out on very beautiful visually stunning well executed slice of life with interesting characters. I'm happy I picked up this show. |

| It's the anime hivemind. The hivemind decides what's going to be popular, besides Dress Up Darling was hyped up by manga readers and YouTubers alike, so this goes into account too, then we need to consider that Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer are airing this season too, and we pretty much got our answer: It is simply overshadowed and overlooked, because it doesn't have a unique enough selling point or is a monster of a hype machine. And the "controversy" regarding the pedo bait, this is just a small minority as far as I'm concerned, I once asked for further evidence about why this show is supposed to be a pedo bait, but I didn't got a satisfying answer to it. Just enjoy what you enjoy, who cares if it's popular or not, and who cares if other people don't like it, as long as you have fun with it, it's good. |

| I do enjoy CGDCT SoL, but with this one I just don't really care about the characters nor I find it really funny, and I think we all can agree that sometimes it's just weird (although others may not care at all). The quality of the art and animation is definitely there (even with those weird shaped heads), but I think that's about the only thing worth mentioning. |

| Sono Bisque has got booba so it obviously attracts more audience. Akebi is a SoL with CGDCT elements and it's a niche genre. The audience which can enjoy the heck out of just girls doing normal daily stuff are less. People need a big story and complex plot or just fan-service to keep them watching an anime, Akebi isn't an anime like that, it's just a wholesome SoL with just the girls doing normal stuff and Akebi making new friends. So like I said the general population of audience which watches these type of animes is lesser and thus Akebi is being overshadowed. But Akebi is really popular within the SoL community at least, most SoL fans are watching it these days. Also there were some tards who came and said like it's got fetish scenes or something, I didn't even notice that until I read posts like that. It's only fetish if you fetishize it. Those tards have ruined the reputation as well and these so called "good people" don't wanna watch a show that shows fetishes, I mean c'mon. |

| My dress up darling is a romcom and has much wider target audience than Akebi chan no sailor fuku which is a CGDCT. So it's no surprise at all that the former is more popular than the latter. |

Dress-up Darling is a waifu bait with plenty of fanservice,so it's obvious ppl are gonna watch it more. IDC though I like both in their own ways... Akebi helps me when I'm stressed. |

| Imo My Dress Up Darling has something kinda new to offer and that's the cosplay aspect. A lot of people like cosplay now. As for this show yeah it's good but it's pretty basic. |

| This Is a CGDCT/Yuri Boring heterosexual romances almost always gets a higher score, Then Anime with only females and heavy Yuri vibes But who cares? CW is kicking ass and I only care about my own enjoyment, not how other people point other shows. IMO this is easily the best anime this season.
