| I mean, even with a TV series, you're probably going to wait for another year or so. The movie idea would be terrible if we don't get an international release though. Other than that, you'll probably get to the ending sooner with a movie. |

| I much prefer a weekly format that can take its time, plus the addition of not needing to wait so long to actually see the fucking thing. I also just want to rip this bandaid off about the finale to see if it hurts or is fine and I'd rather do that week to week digesting events than getting bombarded all at once in a theater. Like if this shit is actually gonna be controversial, getting it in 1 go is NOT gonna be doing anyone any favors no matter how pretty it might look. And with that hellish production schedule, they impose on mappa lets be real, its not gonna look as impressive as people probably think it will in their heads. Money isnt the problem, its the production schedule that is. |

| I don't want a movie for several reasons. 1. I know how it ends, and according to my observations, it's not going to go the way people want it to. Manga readers waited long for an ending..............and the response was NOT great. 2. Too much wait time. How much did we have to wait to watch Mugen Train again??? 3. What are they even going to name it????? Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 Final Movie the Final????????? Just end it already so that people can start coping and move on with their lives. |

Not to be rude or anything but that sounds like a you (and others like you) problem, the ending got backlash for reasons I won't discuss because of spoilers and there is copium for anime only watchers which is a possible anime original ending. I on the other hand binged 80 episodes in a week, read the rest 20-18 chapters that were left and I don't understand why people are so stubborn and won't just read the manga. 'Oh but it's not as good, no color, no animation, no sounds and music' but would rather wait a literal decade than actually spending a hour reading it. Yes it's not as good, yes it's not anime, but the fact is that it's right there for your entertainment. People just love complaining about everything and it's honestly just disappointing seeing it everywhere (not just for AOT). I understand there's die hard fans and all that but some just need to chill and appreciate what they're getting regardless of the pace, mappa's staff is already borderline crippled from the amount of projects they've gotten, so at least respect the people who bring this to you and again I will emphasize probably for free for most of you. For me it isn't the case of 'more colors', I barely have time to read so having a bit of time to watch atleast 1 or 2 episodes from an anime is all I can afford. I don't really mind about whatever ending we'll get served either. I just don't get why they felt like they need to do another gap of a season while it's called FINAL SEASON. We're already done dirty with having a season with 2 parts. This aside, I know how full MAPPA is with their work too and I'd understand if we'd atleast have to wait just a bit but not for a year or 2 again.. |

It's more like they can't do it all, yeah making it final season part 2 sounds very goofy and just looks weird as a name, there's going to be 8-10 chapters left after the season ends and the way it is, they have been doing 1 chapter an episode. You say you don't have time to read but have time for 1-2 episodes, thing is you'd be going through it faster if you read it rather than watch, especially waiting a whole week just for 20 minutes. And also it's not Mappa that are doing the whole season x part y thing (not saying that you thought that), Wit also did that with S3 so it's clearly been a plan from then, I'd imagine it's been foreseen already and they won't just change course now. As for a movie, it makes complete sense, a movie could adapt those chapters but bear it mind that if it's an anime original ending, I have no idea what exactly will they change so worst case scenario it could even be two movies even if that idea sounds ridiculous even I don't quite believe it but they could seriously milk it that way and it's plausible from a business standpoint and even if people complained, they'd still watch it at the end of the day. Like you say, I agree at the point you mention that people who complained about whatever, will still watch it at the end. Yet, I get both parties too. For me it's only about the amount of wait time for more to watch. Other than that I love how everything is been done up till now. I think there is nothing more we can do than just waiting for an official announcement of their part. I wonder if they'll really go for an anime-only ending too. |

| I don't mind at all waiting even 2 years if it means a better product at the end, the annoying thing is that it's just hard to not being spoiled during that time. As for a movie it would be cool cuz usually it tend to have better quality but I would still prefer the TV format I feel it fit more, I like having time between ep rather than having big moment back to back for 2h straight. |

I don't think anyone can disagree that episodes 4 & 5 were a lot to stomach and had they been adapted as part of a movie, everyone would have been lost. However, if what's left contains less substance and more action, then it should be fine. A movie can be a hit or miss really, especially if there's still a lot to tell and to explain. |

| the issue with waiting for a movie IS NOT the production time. It'll probably take a year to make whether it's a movie or episodic. The issue is waiting for a theatrical release, or worse, home release. Since I live in Europe, I would have to wait an extra year or more after it comes out just to watch it. I don't have a problem with production taking its time. But I'm not waiting that much longer for no additional quality. Fuck that |

| "Waiting a bit longer to get a quality product? No, I don't want that!" These people who complain about having to wait are the same who complain about "bad" animation (not everyone, I know). We're more likely to get an adaptation of higher quality if they make a movie, so I'd choose that, even if it takes longer. I'm a manga reader, so I already know how it ends, now I just want Mappa to bring their top tier animation for the final installment, I'm in no rush to see the ending again. Of course, if you're an anime-only (or part of the manga copium squad, who wants an AOE), I understand it's tough to wait even more, but let's be honest, Season 2 took almost 4 years and people still came back to the series. You can always read the manga to avoid spoilers, and if they go for an AOE, then no one can spoil it anyway lol As for the movie title, it could be "Attack on Titan: The Battle of Heaven and Earth" or "Attack on Titan: The Final" (like Gintama), or maybe the title of another chapter: Towards that hill, Wings of Freedom (I think there's already a compilation movie with this title tho), Dedicate Your Hearts, etc. |
