| December 2021; in other words, just last month. After watching S4 P1, I was planning to read the manga but then the trailer for S4 P2 dropped. So I just decided to stick with the anime, coz why not. |

| I watched it back in 2013, by the time I started with it, the first 10 episodes or so already aired. I remember watching one episode while high and the funny thing is that the fansubs were those "eotena onslaught" subs, so you can imagine my reactions. I knew about the manga being high regarded but the art style was shit and I thought it was a simple battle shonen. When I finally completed it, I went straight to the manga, add the anime in my favs and transformed into a mindless fanboy |

| I started AoT in September or October of 2015, and it became my favorite series in July 2019, after rewatching S1 and S2 + watching S3 (both parts) for the first time. Experiencing S3P2 for the first time was amazing. I haven't been able to enjoy the anime as much since then. I guess I actually prefer most of the story post-timeskip (Warriors' perspective, Eren's reveal, the basement conversation, attack on Liberio, the table scene, Levi vs Zeke and titans at the forest, the battle in shiganshina and paths, and other stuff yet to be adapted), but since I read the manga, I am not that hyped anymore, because I know what happens next... Nowadays, I wouldn't call AoT my absolute favorite show. I mean, it's still up there, just not on its own anymore (Eva, LoGH, GitS, Devilman, Madoka, VS, etc.) |
