 I've always wondered... What is it about these character archetypes that people find so appealing, anyway? Their personalities are just completely unrealistic... Like, imagine if there was someone being tsundere in real life. Someone with that kind of personality doesn't just get all cute and pouty whenever things don't go their way. I could go on, but I think you get the point... Are people really attracted to these weird personalities that literally don't exist in real life? I'm not judging or anything! After all, I've found myself attracted to some pretty weird stuff, too... I'm just saying, it fascinates me. It's like you're siphoning out all the components of a character that makes them feel human, and leaving just the cute stuff. |

| Grouping usually good way to create and analysis characters but bad when u are trying to fit everything into box to be discriminative about it Character archtypes are nothing more than character base personality, it usually applies to every character. Not inclusive or exclusive to anime. A grumpy person tend to be sometimes Tsundere. Anime do exaggerate it usually for comical purpose, but its not like it foreign or inhuman concept. Eg - Even a mom or dad who sold u every time and berates u for ur flaws but still actually love u similar to tsundere trait (nothing unrealistic here). Ofcourse, box may to too small for this |

Apparently, if people prefer some realistic things they definitely wouldn't watch Anime in the first place, let alone loving these type of characters. Not not mention the fact that people get attracted to an weird Anime character doesn't mean they have to love them in real life. |
