Best Yu-Gi-Oh! Series
| Yu-Gi-Oh!, the most popular game card in the world, has spawned many TV series over the years. Each new edition of the anime features the latest summoning mechanics and serves as a promo to get more people into the card game. But which of the anime series is the best? Or did the series get worst as more and more convoluted summoning mechanics are added that make it hard to follow along in the show and the card game? |

| I'm only up to GX, but got to vote the original. I don't know what I like about it but it just tells the most solid story I guess. And it wasn't just about playing the card game. With Duel Monsters I really liked the Pharaoh's Memories arc (and I guess Ceremonial Battle as a continuation to that) but other than that it didn't really hit me, too repeating. GX is fine but just doesn't feel the same (of course because of completely different characters and different setting) |

| 1) Duel Monsters excluding fillers (Grand Championship is the only decent one) 2) GX season 4 3) 5D's season 1, if we ignore the super lazy plot device cards Zexal is also fine, definitely better than 5D's season 2. Didn't watch past that, but I'm gonna start Arc-V soon. |
| just started Toei's Yu-Gi-Oh! (aka "Season Zero") yesterday and never really watched any of the other series so i'm gonna have to come back here and vote a lot later |

| Duel Monsters for me. The dub is just too epic and I actually enjoyed every arc in that show including the filler stuff. 5Ds is a close second. |

| I watch all yugioh series since beginning till vrain.. here's what i think the best: 1. 5d's It is the coolest yugioh series. Yusei n Bruno is so cool, the signer dragon are so cool, the racing duel is so cool. 2. Arc V It has the best premise as it uses all the summoning methods in the anime. It teaches viewer how to do fusion, synchro, n xyz summon. The hybrid pendulum fusion, synchro, n xyz are also so cool. Shun kurosaki is also cool af 3. Gx It is the chillest yugioh anime, well they do duel just for fun without risking to save the entire world, etc. It is also really cool to see how Jaden Yuki n the other casts become more mature as the season changes. |

| I stopped after GX. The game mechanics after that totally changed from Synchro to Pendulum summoning, the game becomes complex, the cards becomes more OP as compare to the first edition cards. So I'd say duel monsters is the best followed by GX at least imo. |

| finished season 0 last night, pretty fun to watch but production values and directing really could have been better season 0 movie fixes those issues, but the actual story was kinda... there ...uh i still haven't seen more series so ig i'm just bumping for others to vote for now |

| Everything after 5Ds is filler bs that is just made to make the game stay alive. Iirc, I think the idea of Arc-V was p good tho. Can't remember. For me, it is probably GX if I look into it long enough, the idea of Judai/Jaden was an interesting one, he can relate to all as well as living in the very same world of DM, where everything is based on the game, but the further effects it has to society. DM was really good with it's entire going through background and just straight hype as well. |
