Like seriously, there's so much fans waiting for it's return. And NGNL is literaly almost impossible to get a season 2 at this point, which mean it'll probably break the internet when the near 0% chance actually happening. So I'm curious what will happen if it somehow got a season 2. Like will there be a sudden huge hype or something

And also if you're saying something like "There's no way it got a season 2" or something, I'm not talking about that. I'm asking will it break the internet and stuff like that

NGNL is fairly popular throughout anime so it'll definitely make a big bang if a second season is announced. Hard to say how big that bang will be though since some people might've already forgotten that this show exists.

When S2 haven’t come out, pretty sure the hype will still be there(The Devil is a Part-Timer is a perfect example). But when S2 come out, base on how the quality is, it will tell us will if it will blow the internet again just like S1.
From what I see, most of the staff team are freelancers, while there are people like the 3D director are currently MAPPA employee and the director is still a Madhouse employee. 2 director 2 different studio huh. And with how Madhouse is ATM, IDK if they can make S2. And yeah, if they can keep the S1 staff team, Im sure it will keep up the hype. Time will tell

Not neccesarily 'break the internet' but it'll be fairly popular that's for sure. Many persons probally have forgotten this series existed and if, let's say, season 2 is announced and released sometime this year then I doubt it will be able to reach the same amount of popularity as other shows that will be released, for example AOT Season 4 Part 2 (I just used the popularity as an example, not comparing the shows) It's been almost a decade (well 7 years) since it released, it's popularity has died down but with the right marketing strategy it can probally 'break the internet'.

I just remembered that most of MAPPA employees are used to be Madhouse employees. Which means... if only this was possible, NGNL season 2 could be animated by MAPPA without any downgrade since most of them are used to be a Madhouse employee, while also giving NGNL hype because it was MAPPA who animate it. But then again, if only this was possible

It would have a huge impact on the anime side of the internet but break no. When I think of break I think of game of thrones ending and things like that this would have no way of even getting 1% of that. Yea I would love it and there would be a lot of hype but no it wouldn't break the internet.

i also think it's pretty likely to happen at some point. the movie happened and was decent and i feel like there has been a realization in the industry that bringing back a powerhouse for another season or two is still a safer bet than many untested IPs and that fanfare by the fandom will market such shows for them, stuff like devil is a part timer, mahouka and more got\are getting sequels a million years after the last entry, ngnl can also get one just as easily.

don't see how that would break the internet though, it's very popular and a lot of people watched it and enjoyed it as their like tenth anime or something, but are there really that many people that think ngnl is some masterpiece and that a season 2 for it is what anime fans want the most? i don't really think so personally.

I remember an anime got a 2nd season after 20years but i dont remember the title
S1was in 1996 and 2nd was 2016

I doubt it, I think the attention it gets about another season is more about the fact that it doesn't have one, rather than people actually wanting one

I have my doubts because it has already gone a good time from when the 1st season was dropped out, but knowing that the anime has some "lolies" and the fanbase loves that it can eventually make a "boom" on the internet.
